I suspected that the old mattress was just not comfortable anymore but in no way did I expect such an immediate change.Note that although the description of this mattress says its Reversible one side is considerably more firm than the other. The old one is well and truly in the bin!This one is lovely and thick. The latest one is for my Granddaughter's cot bed but the previous one was bought as a dog bed for a 110Kg dog I owned when I lived in Spain as normal dog beds were never big enough for him.
