AREDS 2 Eye Vitamins - VisiVite Vitamins for Eye Health Without Vitamin E - Eye Vitamins for Seniors - Lutein and Zeaxanthin Supplements - 60 Capsules

I first bought preserVision AREDS at Costco. Then I read the label and noticed that this brand name, that was recommended by a retina specialist, has 4.75 mg of zeaxanthin which is double than preset vision. Both have 20 mg of Lutein. It also has herbs that can help the eyes like Bilberry and grapeseed. You would have to take vitamin E separately. Contrary to what other people say, these capsules don't make me sick at all. -FYI take them with food like the label says- also easy to swallow.

I've been taking these capsules for a few weeks now, and I'm hopeful that I'll see some positive results. They have many claimed benefits, and so far I haven't experienced any negative reactions.

The AREDS 2 Eye Vitamins that I received were as described. I received a bottle of 60 capsules and the capsules are easy for me to swallow.

I have these a 5-star because of the blend of vitamins used. However, I already take everything that in this product with way more mg per capsule as well. Don’t be like me. Read the entire description before purchasing.

My vision has started to get worse as I’ve gotten older, especially reading and night vision. My Opthamologist recommended that I take an AREDS 2 supplement. This one caught my eye because of the higher amount of Zeaxanthin, no vitamin E, and the addition of Bilberry, Grape seed extract, Glutathione, and Alpha lipoid acid. All are beneficial ingredients for eye health.The bottle arrived double sealed. The capsules are regular sized, I don’t have any problem swallowing them, and there’s no bad aftertaste. I noticed that a few reviewers mentioned that this supplement caused an upset stomach. I always take them with a meal, and haven’t had any issues with them, but I know everyone is different.I appreciate that this product is non-GMO, free of additives and preservatives, and made in an FDA registered facility.I posted a photo of the ingredients because the photo on Amazon doesn’t show any Calcium, but the label on the bottle I received says it contains 40 mg of Calcium.I’ve been taking it for a couple weeks, which isn’t long enough to know if it’s helping, so I plan to continue taking it daily, and hope to see results soon.

I can't vouch completely for the product since I am slmost 90 and age is a strong factor. But since I started using this product the eye problem has stabilized.

Hard to swallow and upset my stomach. I need an AREDS2 type supplement but this one is not a good fit for me.
