Hand Made Seat Cover for Herman Miller Sayl Home Office Task Chair Seat (Gray)

There is not a lot of reviews, but this item save my VERY EXPENSIVE chair.I ordered the most expensive chair (with all additons), but miscalculated with the fabric of the chair itself. I have 4 cats and it is critical for me that the chair stays clean (no hair or dust sticks) and the cats do not tear the upholstery.So I search for replacement but I live very far away from any Herman Miller store or delivery from store, so I find this!I definitely order one more, maybe another color.

I spill things, so I needed something to protect my Herman Miller Sayl. This fit perfectly.

I bought this for my Herman Miller Mirra Gray Chair and after sewing the elastic cord end to end I was able to stretch it over the seat. I know it was not made for the Mirra, but it is much thicker and a better fabric than other chair covers on this site. I bought it to discourage any scratching of the seat by my new cat. Almost two weeks in and it is doing its job. Staying in place, soft to sit upon, discouraging cats, and looking way better than a sweatshirt or blanket to cover it.

My Herman Miller Sayl chair's original seat cover was very sensitive to moisture and wear. Every day I'd notice a new mark, but the care instructions indicated not to clean it with water. I'm so glad I finally bought this replacement cover -- it's soft, sturdy, and the fabric doesn't easily mark up. A great, budget-friendly solution.

I really liked the look and feel when I initially got it but the seat cover came pre-tied and would slip off the seat easily. I untied the elastic ropes to tighten them more but because there was so much tension already (because the least amount of rope was used), one end popped way inside the cover and I can't get back out. So now the cover has no tension and just loosely sits on the original cushion. So it slides off constantly. I'd suggest more elastic rope to work with.

Very nice cover for my Sayl chair.Super easy to attach, stays put, and deters my cat from shredding the seat.It's also soft and pretty!

After searching for a replacement for this chair piece because my cats had a heyday on it, I decided to try this custom seat cover.it is a nice fabric, fits PERFECTLY and saved me a fortune. I ordered a back up in grey and a new green one to have on hand.So excited! And such a reasonable price.

The original light blue seat cover I ordered from Herman Miller looked real cute… until I spilled coffee on it. This seat cover is a perfect solution. I’m going to buy another in a different color to keep just in the (likely) case I spill more coffee.
