Actually not bad at all
I have wanted a Harp Guitar for quite a while. I was hesitant to purchase this as the price was just too good to be true. How could any guitar at this price be any good? I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. This is a well built guitar (heavy like all harp guitars) and has really good tone. I did have to make a few adjustments (a high fret was causing some string buzz) but man I am really happy with this guitar. I have since purchased a much more expensive Harp guitar but I still play this one all the time. The action is really nice and makes it easy to play. All in all, I am happy to have this in my collection. My only complaints are,1. The choice of going with piano style tuners for the trebles. These are very touchy and you need a piano tuning wrench to tune them. They don't include this for some reason and I am not sure why.2. The pickup system that it comes with doesn't pickup the trebles very well. If you record, you will need to mic them.

Perfect Entry Level Harp Guitar
Played Semi-Pro for 45 years acoustic and electric (Gibson, Fender, PRS etc) and wanted to try a Harp Guitar. This is a thinner bodied acoustic making it pretty comfortable to hold and was surprisingly well balanced for the body shape having great sustain but does have more of a mid range tone. The high strings require a piano tuning wrench not like the size for an autoharp and unfortunately is not provided. Action as delivered was set up very low and was easy to play however I may need to add some neck relief. There is buzz on the 1st and 2nd strings at the 1st fret The 6th string has buzz at the 2nd fret and again from the 12th the rest of the way up (bottom side of bridge maybe too low). The rest of the neck almost plays like an electric. The Bass Strings are all the same gage and tune fine except for the lowest which I tune down to E and should be switched to a heavier gage. Bridge peg for the 6th string does hold, but the peg only goes half way down into it's hole. As others have stated the bridge pickup is only under the six string bridge so bass and high harp strings will not sound through the on board preamp. Summary: I've given out a lot of criticism but I'm sure a little tweaking will remedy these issues. The finish on the body was perfect and wood grain was incredible. This really is an excellent Harp Guitar for the money and would provide a more advanced player a great starting point for entry into this specialty. I am very happy with this purchase and content playing it as is until some spare time comes along to do the tweaking. Tip: I tune the Bass Low to High (EGABCD) and the high harp (ABCDEFGA) lowest same as A at the 17th fret upto A octave above that. I'm sure different tuning will come along in the future but for now......2/13/24 Well finally got around to the adjustments: gave the truss rod some relief and buzz on the !st, 2nd,and 6th strings at first and 2nd fret is gone and the guitar still maintains a very low action. Pulled the double low E string out of it's bridge hole. After making sure the string eye was complete in was able to insert the peg completely in and now also ok. next update will be adding pickups to the bass and soprano bridges. Another upgrade could be adding violin style fine tuners to the soprano harp strings. This is becoming an unbelievably good instrument. Very Happy and thanks to whoever is making these!

Be careful
To make the harp part viable im going to have to rework the pins. If you dont have that skillset caveat emptor.

Arrived with a broken headstock
Those pics are from the unboxing of it. A single layer of bubble wrap is not good enough for shipping a fragile musical instrument. I didn't even get to play it. Sent it back the day I received it. Sigh.

Great guitar, amazing price!
It is absolutely beautiful and well made the sound is beautiful, I play many different instruments, and the craftsmanship of this is top of the line.it arrived quickly well packaged. Just a beautiful sound strings needed readjusting on the bass but that's nothing, however if this is your first guitar ever take it to someone who plays and can readjust the bass strings for you and you will be able to make beautiful sound.

Buy with confidence , this guitar is a Keeper !
I received the instrument promptly and am very very pleased with it. I had never played a harp Guitar but with scads of You Tubes to demonstrate it's now a familiar instrument after one week. I did a minor truss rod adjustment and re-strung the guitar b=neck with silk & steel strings and it intonates beautifully. After reading that these guitars go of multi-thousands of dollars I am quietly overwhelmed at the sound and quality at this price. For now I do standard tuning and DADGAD on the guitar neck and I conveniently pitch the bass strings to (from thinnest to thickest : E (same as guitar's 6th string ) D C B A G . I had to tune tune the first bass string unison to the guitar's 6th string to keep it from buzzing, any lower pitch on this string buzzes. But they are all now very solid and useful. The 8 zithery treble strings I keep in an " all purpose" pent-tonic scale of , from shortest to longest -floor to sound hole : E' D B A G E G D ---- the lowest pitched of these -nearest the sound hole , is unison with the D of the guitar's first string at the 10th fret..........NOW MY ONE NEGATIVE ::: it would have been perfect if the makers had included a tuning wrench for the thin harp string posts as they are not geared tuners. My autoharp tuning wrench was too small so I have to use a 5/16th socket wrench to tune them. The lady that tunes my piano looked at it and will order me a #2 piano wrench. Anyway, I would have glady paid extra for a fitted tuning wrench. That said, these tuning posts really hold the strings to pitch and I was surprised to transport the guitar and when I arrived I pulled it out of it's bag and the thin strings were still IN TUNE !!! yay yay...........I would have paid for a sturdier bag or case as I have a keyboard case on order for it. All in all this instrument is well worth the price and then some....I would recommend it to anyone and will.....But please , throw in the tuning wrench. Love & Peace
