Great Versatile Cooler
Used this in SFF builds to great affect. Ended up using this in an air-cooled Meshroom S build. The additional clearance space allowed me to use a Noctua 92mm thin fan underneath and a Noctua 120mm fan on top. This combination improved cooling for my 11700K CPU. My temps never exceeded 68C in full load and the dual fan setup dropped it below 70C when I thought the two fans would cause turbulence. I went air-cooled since I used a Hybrid GPU (3080 FTW3) instead of an AIO on the CPU. The GPU in this config stays at 62C during long gaming sessions and in the 40s during regular work applications.

Best Cooler on the market for SFF
This is a Reversion C cooler. It means it comes with LGA 1700 adapter in the box. This cooler fits MSI MPG B760I with NO mods needed. If you equip it with a Noctua 120mm fan, you can effectively change the TPD from 95 to 125 no problem. I’m using it with an I7 12700KF under full load Temp never goes over 55 C. That is leaving room for OC.This is the best damn cooler on the market hands down. Buy now!!!!

Nice with my Ryzen 9 5950X
Nice Cooler. The one that I received didn’t have a seal on the box, but upon opening it up, it is brand new. Also I live in the United States and I ordered from the UK Amazon store and it came a week before than the ETA. Really good job Amazon. Thank you.

Great Cooler for the Money
The Alpenfohn Black Ridge is a phenomenal cooler for the money. It fits perfectly inside of MOST SFF/ITX systems. Pictured is my FormD T1 build with a 5600X and 1080ti. Keeps my 5600X cool while also being quiet* (see "Noise Level").Mounting: **THIS COOLER DOES NOT COME WITH A AM4 BACKPLATE**, the first two pictures show a backplate that I made from a stock AM4 backplate that functions well for the use case. **FOR USERS WITH A AM4 MOTHERBOARD**, they intend for you screw the cooler directly to your motherboard, and I wasn't keen on that. Beyond that, the cooler is fairly easy to mount for AM4, but the inclusion of a backplate would have been nice given the price point of this cooler. If you were to do something similar to what I did, and don't already have a backplate, they're like $5 - $10 on here and I'm sure they're cheaper elsewhere.*Noise Level: I cannot give an honest critique of the noise level without first stating that I am not running the fan this cooler came with. My cooler has a NF-A12x15 and a NF-A9x14, which is a fairly quiet setup. It has been reported that the stock fan can be a little loud, so I would recommend budgeting for at least a NF-A9x14 if you're going to use this cooler. It's also been reported that due to the cooler design, there is no space between the cooler and the single fan it comes with, making the cooler louder than it maybe needs to be. It has been suggested that a set of tiny spacers can resolve that.A good buy for most ITX/SFF systems, but bear in mind that there are a few extra caveats that come with using it on AM4. Very few coolers can actually compete with this, in terms of air cooling. Again, for the price, the inclusion of a AM4 backplate would have been nice. I don't know if that has changed from when I ordered mine, but hopefully it has.

Great for sff builds
Still one of the best sff coolers out there. Just switch the fan to noctua and you are good to go

Be sure it will fit before buying!
I saw several video reviews of this cooler and though it is large and low, it appeared to fit. The videos showed it fitting vertically or horizontally. However, it all depends on your motherboard. My Gigabyte motherboard would only support installation vertically. It either interfered with my pcie graphics card or it stuck out of the case. I would have fit horizontally extending over the RAM, but my motherboard did not have holes that allowed this. I had to return it. Measure once cuss twice! Also, I had to order this twice. It was shipped via Australian Post, but came from Germany by way of the Netherlands. The first time it was deemed "undeliverable" before it even reached the US and the order was cancelled. It made it the second time I ordered, but all in all it took over 6 weeks from my original ordering.

TL:DR Intel brackets did not work for my LGA 1151 motherboard
Build: Dan A4 SFX, intel 9700k on a Asus strix z390-iI knew going into this that mating this cooler to the strix z390 mobo was going to be a modding job but cutting down the fin stack closest to the I/O heat sink turn out to be the least of my worries. Once I cut that part down I knew my warrarnty was out the window. In BIOS my CPU temps way past 90 degrees. I shut down the PC immediately and dismantled the case to take out the cooler. There was no thermal paste on the cooler and all of it had remained on the CPU...I thought that maybe the I/O heat sink was still getting in the way but I removed it from the MoBo, booted the PC and again... 90 degrees. Shut it down and took it apart again. Imagine my suprise when realized that the provided intel CPU brackets were causing a gap between the CPU and cooler contact plate. Literally no contact between the two (I didn't take a picture but the contact plate on the cooler showed absolutely no signs of the thermal paste sticking to it when mounted. This cooler is supposed to work on LGA 1151 boards. I had to restort to grinding down the "pegs" on the mounting brackets with a dremel. I did it by eye but If I had to guess, I took off a good 2mm off all 4 pegs. This allowed the brackets to sit a little lower to the MoBo and as a result, the cooler's contact plate was now making decent contact with the thermal paste. Its a shoddy job and wish I didn't have to restort to it but I was commited at that point to march forward. I only hope my grinded down pegs don't put too much strain on the MoBo's mounting holes but at least I'm seeing 37 degrees celcius in BIOS now.The only reason I gave it an extra star below minimum is because it is a decent enough cooler once you spend 4 hours troubleshooting/modifying to get it working. That being said, I used a noctua slim fan in place of the one provided in the box. 65 degrees while playing cyberpunk 2077 at 2k, max settings. On the product box it says "revision B" if that helps anyone in making a purchase decision.
