Q: is there a lid available for this pan

I have ordered the 10" Greenspan twice now and did get the 10" Earth Frying Pan Lid in Tempered Glass, by Ozeri, and it works great with this pan. The Ozeri lid fits other 10" pans and with a bit of measurement, you can get a clue as to whether it will fit, but it fits the 10" Greenspan pretty well!

Q: Does the handle get hot when used on the stovetop?

No. The handle does not get hot on the stovetop. So far, we love this pan, but we've only used it a dozen times or so.

Q: What is the meaning of each of the symbols on the back of the pan?

This is cook top compatability symbols. Such as gas, electric, induction, oven.
