REFUTING Comments On Pod Quality - Pods Are GREAT!
I do not normally write reviews to refute others... but this one really warrants a response. What stopped me for a while on this item was the numerous complaints about pod quality. I want to clear that up. If you ONLY use Nespresso-made or similar ALUMINUM pods, ok, perhaps the fact that this is not aluminum means you cannot jam it into your machine like a lemon into a juicer. But for the rest of us who understand that Nespresso supports plastic pods from many reputable vendors, even Amazon's own house brand has them, these Matcha pods will be nothing new to you. In fact, I challenge ANYONE claiming these pods are poorly made or designed to compare w/ the Amazon pods and tell me how these are worse. Amazon (and many others) use thin plastic and a foil film on top. These Matcha pods are SOLID, thick plastic, with no film. Honestly, these are the highest quality plastic pods I have ever seen for Nespresso (and I've tried 10+ other pod makers over the years). What I think I should warn you about is the taste. If your idea of Matcha is going to the drive thru of that big and popular coffee chain and grabbing an Matcha beverage, this is NOT that. In fact, this is the first Matcha I've seen on Nespresso that is NOT pure sugar. As in, while this has a tiny amount, this is actually very similar to a Matcha you would make by hand w/ power and hot water (and no whisk required with these pods). I happen to like this, I cannot drink the overly sweet Matchas the big stores make, so no complaints on taste from my end.As for sizing, I've found about 1.5 espresso cups to be optimal. Much more and it waters down. You could of course make smaller but I do not notice an appreciable taste difference adding that extra 1/2 shot, and for the price you are paying for these you may as well get a little more.

A Monstrosity in a Pod – A Testament to Society’s Downfall
If Dante had a tenth circle of hell, it would be reserved for whoever designed these matcha pods. This product is not just bad—it is a microcosm of everything wrong with modern consumerism: form over function, performative eco-friendliness, and an utter disregard for quality.Let’s start with the build. These pods are made of flimsy, recyclable plastic that Nespresso machines were clearly never meant to handle. The result? A brewing process so disastrous it could be used as an allegory for late-stage capitalism. Water leaks out in unpredictable directions, bypassing the matcha entirely, leaving you with a cup of sadness and wasted potential. Out of the 10 pods, only two yielded anything remotely drinkable. Arguably, undoing any sustainable intention I could’ve possibly had by buying these recyclable pods. And let’s talk about that matcha. Oh, the matcha! Instead of the vibrant, floral green you’d expect from even a mid-tier product, what emerges (if you’re lucky) is a murky, lifeless swamp water that looks like it was scooped from a neglected fish tank. It lacks the freshness, the umami, the delicate complexity that makes matcha special. Instead, you get an overpriced insult to tea. This is not just a bad product. It is a symbol of modern mediocrity, a cautionary tale of what happens when marketing outpaces engineering, when aesthetics override utility, when the illusion of progress replaces actual progress. If you are tempted to buy these, do yourself a favor: take that money, throw it directly into the garbage. It will be a better use of your time, money, and sanity.

Best matcha latte without 0 added sugar.
My favorite matcha latte on a market. As far as I checked the only matcha with no sugar added on the market. That is a critical for me since I try to cut added sugars. I experienced couple times problems with a cups but it will not stop me from buying. I wish they have it in a k cups too.

Easy & Delicious Matcha
We like matcha lattes and this was interesting to me. I have the kitchenaid nespresso machine. We have used four of the pods and so far so good! Nice color and grassiness. We brew lungo with honey and add a few ice cubes and oat milk. Amazing! I think the price is kind of high but I guess it’s the price of convenience and quality. I have not had luck with most off-brand nespresso pods, so going to finish this bag before I reorder the big box... keeping my fingers crossed because I love this so far!

Mediocre Quality and taste
The traditional method of making matcha cannot be replicated. Sorry, it’s just not the same. If you’re making a latte then perhaps it doesn’t matter

Great matcha from my nespresso
Awesome easy matcha without the powder mess and clumps of whisking traditional matcha.I love how these are only pure matcha with no added sugars or sweeteners. Thats all up to you.Tip, use the espresso setting for a better and stronger brew.

Would not order again
Seemed like a lot of the liquid went into the discarded pod holder. Wasn’t strong enough and I used the smallest oz setting.

Copy Cat SB Green Tea Latte
Bought these on a whim when it popped up as a recommended item and my husband and I were not disappointed. We have a Nespresso Pixie machine & they seem to brew good in it. I do the bigger brew button on the right side & then add some honey or sugar and coconut milk (or whatever type of milk you like) and it tastes just like the green tea lattes from Starbucks for way cheaper! I was worried they wouldn’t work well in the machine due to some of the reviews but I’m glad I decided to try it. It’s not that expensive so figured I had nothing to lose. I think we will continue to buy these pods monthly.
