build it the RIGHT way first time and it lasts. 70mph tested.
I really wasnt expecting this flimsy looking thing to last, i was wrong, this flimsy looking thing int so wek, it stood up to two storms, 70mph winds at its best, gusts of 80+, build it and strap it down and have a couple of years atleast. well worth the money.

disappointing
I, like many other reviewers was initially happy with this tunnel. It is the first time I bought a round one as I found that the shed shape ones attracted the birds to sit on the point of the roof and their claws pierced holes through it. So a round roof would solve that problem, which it has. The problem I have now is that less than a year in I noticed the rain was getting in via holes where the poles had rubbed through. I sealed those with flash tape. However, the rain was still getting in. I then noticed, as others have, that the whole thing is degrading away and the little squares are all little holes, it is now wet through inside and smelling of damp. Everything inside is also damp and green. I need a whole new cover, which lets face it, does not mean the same will not keep happening. This is obviously a manufacturing fault that needs addressing. The only good thing I can say is that its still standing throughout all the storms we've had recently, its just not keeping the rain out. Question is, do I buy a replacement cover and hope it stays intact or buy a shed shape one and try to reinforce the roof to stop birds claws going through? These should last a lot longer than a year, as previous ones I have had have done.

Tunnel is actually pretty good imo.
I've bought this to enclose my boys swimming pool which is just under 2m in length and my idea was that this can help to warm the pool water up and keep it warmer for the summer as well as protecting the pool from debris not to mention insects etc getting in. Plus if it starts raining my boy can still use the pool.Yes it does help to warm the pool up quicker due to it's greenhouse effect and yes it also helps to keep it warm during the night.Putting it together does need 2 people in my opinion just to keep things a bit more sturdier as you attach each pole section but once built it actually feels quite sturdy. Yes it's lightweight steel which makes it easier to lift and put into place despite the number of pole sections needed to construct it. It's tubular steel which helps to make it lighter. The cover appears to be quite sturdy too with reinforced weave that goes through all the cover. The cover is attached with little velcro straps which in my opinion there could be more of and longer to improve the design. I feel that the cover needs more attaching straps. Other improvements could be a better set of door zips. The zips on this cover whilst being ok should be heavier duty.As for added stability I've zip tied the frame to the swimming pool as well as tucked most of the bottom of the cover under the pool legs.I think with some minor improvements this could be a better product although tbh I've enjoyed putting it together and then reinforcing certain areas. It's managed to stay put without any damage in some mild windy weather although the wet weather will make the roof bow in due to the weight of water unless you manage to get the cover really tight this will happen. The tunnel has zippable sides too as well as windows for ventilation so you've got plenty of options.I also like that you can get replacement covers should this get damaged or rips in it provided the frame remains intact that is.Priced at just under £70 at time of review is reasonable and is a great way of enclosing a similar sized pool. For its intended purpose as a greenhouse and growing stuff then I can imagine it's just as good but for added stability I can only recommend you definitely make sure the bottom edges are tucked in or dug into the ground as well as securing the framework a little better like I did. I'd be worried if this was 'freestanding' and the possibility of wind getting under the bottom and lifting it so make sure you can secure it down somehow because it is lightweight.I'll revisit the review if I see any issues with this polytunnel when we get any strong winds but for now we're quite happy with it for what we use it for and to go over a swimming pool it does help to keep water warmer for longer.Just be wary of chlorine gas build up inside when not in use and you're using chlorine tablets or granules, let it vent out a little before getting inside.I'm happy with the tunnel and sure the manufacturer will make some minor modifications to make it that little bit stronger and secure in the future.

Budget friendly practical greenhouse
Perfect size for my needs. Takes a little while to fit together, but instructions are straightforward. Just make sure not to tighten the screws on the arch to allow holes to align and then tighten. Stability good, so far. Zip nice and smooth. Love the cover is supplied so that you just unfold and drape over the frame.

Not the best quality but make do
Lasted almost a full season but green plastic started to disintegrate quickly with small holes appearing daily. Have ordered a second one for this year and some bolts are missing from the box again, as they were last time. Luckily i have a few roofing bolts hanging around i can use in their place. Also some of the sewing is off and so is tight in some places, baggy in others. Others for sale that are more expensive but they all look of a similar quality. Might be wrong?
