Great upgrade
This pump was recommended by A 454 TBI specialist as an upgrade from a 75 LPH pump to a 155 LPH pump. My application is a 1995 motorhome P30 chassis with a throttle body 454. Huge difference in response and power and mileage from the old pump. It will now support some mods for power. It is running so strong now ,I may just leave it alone for a while. This pump is for a later model Vortec and it pops right in with no mods. The strainer they also offered worked as well, you just have to fold the corner to get it in the tank. I took this on blind faith and it worked great! I will order one of his towing chips next after I do the exhaust... Hope this helps someone with idle problems like I had. I also put in a K-N fuel filter....

Double check the part number!
I got the incorrect part, which looks identical. Only was pushing 25-29 psi, engine barely ran. After figuring out that they sent the wrong part I bought one at a local parts store of the correct part number Delphi FE0114 and it worked perfectly. Easily runs engine, 60 psi or better. No problems. Very quite and fits like original oem part. Technically the AC Delco equivalent I found out through research. You'll probably need to replace the in-tank fuel strainer, I broke mine just trying to remove it. All in all not a bad part, just look at the part number printed on the pump before installing. I have photos showing how identical they look. Good luck lol

Vortec level pump used for replacing TBI era pump
Only had this running a couple of days, but it made a big difference in the behavior of my 89 K1500 350 TBI engine. Noticeably more power, no more engine check light. Prior pump showed 10 psi at the throttle body. Added a 15 psi spring, and along with this pump, is working fine. Easy to install? Nope. Dropped tank, easier to get it out than back in. Not blaming the pump for this. Wish I had a lift, but am working on the ground. Could not have installed without the floor jack.

Chevrolet 7.4L TBI fuel pump upgrade.
This is the correct fuel pump to use if you are performing the Chevrolet 7.4L 454 TBI fuel pump upgrade for consistent pressure values at WOT.

I can't say anything that isn't R rated.
Lets get one thing straight...unless your new fuel pump was shipped not working, of course any new pump will seem fantastic compared to what you were used to driving around with, but the question is how about longevity? Figured buying a Delphi would save me from the seemingly failure prone Airtex since Delphi used to have a good name for itself. Well the news is in... 1 year 2 months and 4700 miles catastrophic failure, zero fuel pressure. IT'S DEAD! Now i'll have fun for another 5hrs installing an AC Delco fuel pump on my 2 door Tahoe. BTW this pump is for 2 door Tahoes which has a different tank & pump assembly than the 4 door Tahoes of the same generation (99% sure of it, but check your compatibility).
