Beautiful illustrations and meaningful story. Very helpful in understanding OCD.

My 10 year old granddaughter has OCD, and this book explains some of its' aspects in a simple and reassuring way. An easy read for her, and I was very pleased with it...as was her Mom.

purchased for older child - reading through once was plenty - not something you would read back over and over for older child. However, younger child would definitely benefit from this prior to therapy to have an idea of what to expect - recommend as a good introduction for child 4-7.

My daughter finds this book helpful and requests to read it on ocassion. That's all I need personally to rate this book highly.My only "complaint" is that not all children with OCD need medication, some respond to CBT. However, it appears that every child centered book on OCD assumes two things - 1. OCD needs to be medicated. And 2. OCD always results in compulsions and rituals. However, I gave this book 4 stars because it's a great book for beginning to understand what OCD is, and it points out that children who have OCD are not alone.

Lovely to have a book which provides answers and ways of approaching these subjects with little ones. A great help, Thanks

Excellent book for introducing treatment for OCD looks at medication and psychological treatment from a "childs"perspective. I used this as homework reading for my clients (children).American slant but ok for Australians.
