A great investment!
Truly excited by these beautiful Yucca Rostratas, I purchased two of them this year when the full price was $300 mid year at 30”-36”. The first plant did beautifully (pict 1); however, the second one did not. Therefore, I am commending JYJ Nursery for having taken responsibility in replacing the second plant (pic 3). The second order was not as healthy as the first one. JYJ Nursery replaced it after many attempts to revive it during nearly a six month period of time. The replacement (see pictures 2) is absolutely beautiful and healthy without a doubt. I strongly recommend buying these resilient plants natives from dessert soil. Once they mature they can grow tall to become major architectural accents. To the best of my knowledge, these plants also do well in subtropical and tropical climates. They grow best in a well-drained soil with lots of sand or small stone. They enjoy neutral or slightly alkaline soil. However, they can also thrive in acidic soil. Make sure that the soil is well-drained

Dead Plant No Help
This is an update. A year later one dead, one doing well. The second never came back after arriving. That is unfortunate and I can understand these things happen. . Problem is absolutely zero response or communication from seller. I have emailed numerous times. Not even looking for a free replacement but some kind of assistance. I’ve gotten a few from Big Bend Yucca and while they are more expensive the seller is fantastic and knowledgeable. You are rolling the dice with these folks and forget about any support or communication. Save up and buy better.Initial reviewThese are now about three months from purchase. Planted in cactus soil mixed with perlite. They are doing well and hope they will survive mid Atlantic winter. I have others I paid three times the price for which are much larger and beautiful and survived the winter fine. You get what you pay for I guess. I am hoping these do as well. Overall for the price these are nice Yuccas. Packaging was ok but I had to do a lot of trimming as they tied the spikes too tight and the bottom rings of spikes were broken. Did seem to take a long time to ship. But they are coming back nicely. I would like to know if these are seed grown or dug up wild.

Surprised that I got it
It came in super late but it arrived. It's been a month since I've received it and doing well. There is new growth coming in. No roots at all when it came in but I just stuck it in a pot with Cactus soil and it's been doing really well in south florida weather. For the money I think its a good buy. I went to a local nursery and a bigger version of this plant was 1400. The lady told me to check Amazon and that's how I found this seller.

Pleasantly surprised!
I would have given this 5 stars if not for the delivery delay. Despite the item coming late, and thinking the worst case scenario (dead plant), it arrived and appears to be in better shape than I would have thought possible. The plant was packaged with care and arrived in great condition! It was delivered and planted today, and I’m very excited to watch this beautiful plant grow!I wouldn’t hesitate to order from this seller again!

difficult to care for
I ordered 4 of these for pots out around my yard. All but one has died. I put them in sandy soil, minimal watering. Didn't help.

Beautiful Plant and Great First Experience!
There’s a first time for everything, and this was my first time buying a live plant from an Amazon seller. The plant was packed extremely well, and as soon as it arrived, I added fresh soil and replanted it. It’s doing great so far, and I’m confident it will only grow more beautiful over time. The price was excellent for such an exotic, slow-growing plant. I’m very happy with my purchase—thank you!

People need to know how to take care of these yuccas
This seller is great, they know what they’re doing, the plant is shipped the right way , rostrada could be out of the ground for months, people don’t be afraid when you don’t see any roots, it’s normal, that’s how they are shipped . Plant it in palm/ cactus soil, keep it moist , don’t plant them too deep .The plant needs at least 6 months to start rooting and growing, be patient it will grow, first 6 months put in a filtered sun area . I bought two and they are now starting to push new leafs. I’m buying another one because these are beautiful specimens , probably 7 to 10 years old . These are really easy plants to take care off, if you give them the right environment . They need time to establish, but they are not difficult, when they are established they can take full sun and are drought tolerant , do some research if you are not sure what you are doing
