Super little package!
Upon opening box, cord and power adapter dropped unnotice out of box. Submitted request for another and gave 1 star. MY BAD!!! Located cord and adapter on floor under toe-kick.This little clock replaces an old Sony projection clock/radio that aged out. This new clock/radio is just the right size, has easy instructions for set up, a "coin" battery for backup power keeping all the settings when unplugging and moving clock (old Sony model used 9 volt - one of the worse batteries ever conceived). The projected time on the ceiling is great - can adjust focus (cheaper units can not), and adjust brightness (old Sony job could not). Super little projection clock/radio with great features and priced less that half my old Sony - I'm a HAPPY CAMPER!!! JW

Gave as gift because...
.. I had purchased this same type of clock before and love it. Gave as a gift to a friend who thought it was neat. Indeed it is! Radio, radio alarm, regular alarm, snooze, date, day of the week, time, temperature, projection with color and brightness settings along with projection position (ceiling, wall wherever you want) -- display on clock can be adjusted to color and brightness also and there is a USB charging port on the back. It is a little bit of a challenge to set but not too hard and once you have, all works great. Back up battery keeps time and alarm, but you will need to reset the projection. Not a big deal. Really like this clock!

Great...but with ONE Flaw
We have owned this projection clock for several months. It has performed exactly as advertised.PROS: The LIORQUE has 3 Brightness levels. I cannot imagine needing it any brighter than the levels they offer. It also has different brightness settings for both the base's clock as well as the projector's. Plus, the projected time can be inverted with the simple press of a button, should you be facing the opposite direction when you lay in bed.CONS: If you are used to sleeping in total darkness, as I am, be prepared to compromise a tad; the projector does light up the room just a little, even if you have it on the lowest setting. Best to project it as far away from your most frequent "line of sight" to minimize its effect on your sleep. (I simply turn my head to see it.) Also, except for the SNOOZE button, the other function buttons (like "OFF") are very small. You'll need to get used to their locations by touch.BOTTOM LINE: This clock has resolved my inability to see our alarm clock with my bride's body in the way. No more having to get out of bed or sit up to crane my neck, squint, to see the time.

Good Value for the Price
This is an ideal clock for nearby bedside use. I've placed mine about 9' away so that I'm forced to get up to turn it off. The ring tone, however, is a little lame regardless of placement, so I'm using the radio mode because the volume can be turned up. The display area is a somewhat smaller than what I would have liked. The ring tone issue and display size almost caused a 4-star rating. However, the superb quality and clarity of both white and blue lighting modes override other considerations. My previous “blue light” clock cast a hazy kind of glow that was rather strange, and there were no day & date (or temperature) displays. So, I am very satisfied with my new Liorque alarm clock. Even at its distance, I can clearly see the time, day & date, and temperature readings at the medium brightness setting. Readings at the maximum brightness setting are exceptionally clear for me.

Alarm clock
It's an okay alarm clock. I like how the time reflects on the ceiling. So at night time I don't have to roll all the way over to look at the clock. I can just look at the ceiling. But it came with a battery so if the power goes out the clock is supposed to stay on. That does not seem to be working. Possibly the battery is no good. So I have yet to buy another battery for it and to see if this feature works. Because it's important sometimes during the bad weather. When the power goes out, I need to rely on an alarm clock to wake me up in the morning to go to work. So I will admit a part two to this after I get a new battery. But otherwise. It's kind of complicated. It's hard to memorize how work everything. My old alarm clock is simple. With my old alarm clock I don't need paperwork to try to figure out what to do on it. You just look at it and know what to do. Life is complex enough. I'd like to purchase something that I don't have to sit there and try to read the directions and for an hour to figure out how to set the clock or change it.

Really really good little alarm clock
I love this little clock. Radio works pretty good, presets work well. The laser projection on the ceiling is extremely functional and I love the fact that you can turn off the display and still have the projection on the ceiling in three different brightness levels.

Junk
Cheap. Looks cheap, functions cheap and I was going to return it right away. Decided to give it a chance and wish I didn't. display stopped working after 2 months.

Performs as advertised, and easy to use.
I've been toying with the idea of a projection clock to replace my 40 year old clock that is very tired now. This one did everything that I wanted. First it's a clock with a battery backup. Easy to read for old eyes, and brightness levels that are dim enough to not disturb me at night, but can be adjusted to be easily seen in broad daylight. I have only checked the accuracy over 5 days, but it seems fine. The projection feature is excellent. I can project the time onto the ceiling where it's easy to see in the middle of the night, and the projection can be flipped to get it right side up, as well as rotated by plus or minus 90 degrees if you want to use a wall. I found the dim setting to be well chosen. I can see it at night, but it is not intrusive. The FM radio is fine. It's not hi-fi of course, but I can wake up to NPR news for which it is perfectly adequate. The temperature display and the different colors work, but I don't need either. Very pleased with this purchase. Highly recommended.
