Quick and easy to install, and worth every penny!!

This is the first time ever I’ve replaced the battery on my MacBook Air. It was sooooo nerve wracking haha, but I did it!!! Yayyyyyyy me!!! I guided myself by watching a YouTube video and it literally took me about 15 minutes to replace, and the great thing about this is you get 4 tools with the battery and the tool is magnetic which makes it soooo much easier to handle the tiny ass screws lol. I was initially concerned due to the fact that the the price is extremely cheap in comparison to other listings (I do believe that with most things in life, when you buy cheap you buy twice), but my laptop is on and functioning so I have no complains. I can only just hope now that it’s reliable for the long haul....UPDATE: Now the battery depletes very quickly so I have to buy another one. This lasted 2 years and 10 months which I think is pretty reasonable given the price so I would still recommend

Given the price - and despite the mixed reviews - I thought this replacement battery was worth a punt.It took me less than 3 minutes to install - all the tools were provided.I immediately did 3 calibration cycles (3/4 recommended) and then started working. Using my 2011 Macbook Pro mainly for writing/editing (with some internet browsing), I was amazed that I got over 5 hours use from 1 charge. 2 months later it's still providing that level of performance.With heavy internet use - gaming/streaming - I get about 2 hours 20-30 minutes on one charge, which is acceptable. The only issue is that despite calibrating the battery correctly, it has a slight glitch when it reaches about 12%-13% charge it will suddenly drop to 7%.All in all, so far, this is proving to be an excellent battery and fantastic value for money.

The battery arrived within 2 days and the swap is easy, as long as you follow the instructions carefully, keep track of all the screws removed and treat the electrical connection with the respect it deserves. The battery showed 70% charge when fitted and has not needed charging in the couple of days since installation. I cannot therefore comment on the battery life, except to say I am optimistic.All in all it was well worth while to keep the 10 year old MacBook alive and well — still with enough power the deal with all the Internet surfing, documents and spreadsheets I use.

Installed item easily enough using the provided equipment and all seemed fine. Battery was charging, holding charge and my Macboook Air had no compatibility problems.I wanted to wait a few months on reviewing to evaulate performance, but the battery has now failed one month later. This was one of the cheapest replacements on Amazon so I'm not hugely out of pocket, but it seems to be a lottery if you'll run into any quality issues.

purchased a different version at first which was more expensive, which had charge and so worked but would not charge returned damaged.purchased this battery as had previously purchased for a different MacBook Air and it was plug and play. even though this is less expensive it is a much better quality and works well.I would recommend this over more expensive batteries as now had 3 of these batteries and they always work

Battery is ok, installed with no issues. Yet, it's not new. It shows cycle count 3 and max charge capacity of 5984 mAh instead of the promises 6000. I'll keep it as it's better than a totally dead one I had before - but somewhat disappointed.
