Much handier than I expected. . .
It is sort of surprising how useful this tool is. I saw our shop foreman using a pair of these grips and thought they looked interesting. I ordered a set for myself and now use them all the time: Working on the gutters & downspouts, for electrical and for other miscellaneous projects around the house.Clever design, well made. Very handy to have.

Nice general use tool!
Nice general use plyer (both sides). But for some tough jobs like trying to loosen a screw that's partially up, it seems like the plyers can't really grip. Probably the wrong tool for that job (after as reverse tap did its work), but then again standard plyers seems to work better in that case since the reverse tap only partially worked. Still I find this a nice general use 'go to' tool, and it reverses very quickly.

I like the inverse tool with the plyers and the needle nose. I am replacing my last set
These are great for tiny things that need pulling out, or just a wrench tool you need around the house. I rusted my last pair, so I needed another one. I was really missing my tool while it was gone! Thanks for the replacement.

Steel hardness and jaw surface machining are excellent.
These are my Go To pliers. What is going to fail?Nothing serious that will hinder operation or performance. The logo caps will pop off with average abuse and the locking feature will come apart and the tiny parts will get lost. The machining of the jaw surfaces is spot on and the ergonomics of the handles provides for some serious gripping power.Excellent tool and would make a nice gift.

Essential tool!
A very versatile tool, just flip the handle and you go from a needle nose to a regular pliers. And it cuts wires. So useful that I gave them out for Christmas!

Great tool but the center screw needs to stop falling out.
It worked well for a month. Then the center screw fell out. I put the pliers together again... screw fell out again after moderate use. The manufacturer needs to lock in the screw. Besides that it worked ok for a short while.

It Works!!
Age and arthritis have “loosened” my grip making opening everything from jars to pill bottles difficult. After buying a variety of products designed to help with the problem, SwitchGrip is the very best of the lot. It is worth the money, easy to use and functions as advertised.

Had one for yrs and loved it! Eventually the spring broke while my husband was using it - which he did, more than I did, despite having a lot of his own tools. Bought it as soon as I found the exact same one on Amazon when we couldn't find it at any local stores.
