Very tasty Oolong tea.
Best tasting oolong tea I’ve found. On our recent trip to Taiwan, we became addicted to the fantastic oolong tea. I purchased two bags while there, but realized I needed a gift for my son when I returned (he loves Oolong tea). After reading numerous reviews on Amazon, I decided to try this one as a gift to me. 😊I have to say that this tea tastes just as good as the tea we loved in Taiwan. I usually get 3 cups out of 1 slight teaspoon of the leaves. Since my first bag, I have ordered another.

One teaspoon per 8 ounce cup.
A little goes a long way. Novices tend to use too muchTea. And don’t let it steep for more than three-four minutes.

No expert here, but it hits the right notes for me
So full transparency here, but I've never been super well-versed in tea... I've had good tea enough times to know the general notes a good tea should hit though, and I've always been partial to oolong tea. I'd say this one did the job well enough to be satisfactory, and for the price and the fact that it can't be returned (so the seller could probably get away with selling a lower quality than this if they wanted to), I really can't complain. I steeped it a bit too hot on the first go, got a little bitter, but the depth of flavor and sweet oolong aftertaste that lingers in your mouth is definitely there for me. I got about 4 good steeps out of it, didn't try for more as it was only getting lighter at that point. Will be trying starting at a lower temp next time and maybe picking out any twiggy bits (not bad on the amount of twigs, but I prefer less bitterness & I think this step may help next time around), but overall not bad at all for the price & blindly purchasing tea on the internet lol

Branchy
No tea should contain this amount of branches, regardless of price.

below average high mountain tea
Certainly not high quality, thought i'd give it a try since the price is very affordable, which is a fraction of what the best high mountain Oolong Teas (from regions like Ailishan Jin Xuan, Shan Lin Xi, Li Shan, Dayulin ...etc.) usually sell for. This particular tea may be brewed 3-4 times at most, and by the 3rd brew it is already tasteless with a slight hint of bitterness showing. You can also test it with brew hot for 1 to 2 times, and then use room temp spring water and leave it for an hour (cold brew), there is not much sweetness and clearly a bitter aftertaste will show.At this price I did not have any high hope but was just expecting average Oolong tea, but I'd rate it below average, definitely not the kind of tea to be shared with my tea connoisseur friends and there are a number of other options at around $30 on amazon that are way better than this.
