All my cats love it, and it holds up over time
All five of my cats love this bed. Usually, one or two cats will express interest in a bed I get for them. But all of them lay in this on a regular basis.None of them uses the chin scratcher. That's fine by me. It's pretty flimsy. I might just take it off ... I wouldn't want a piece of the plastic breaking off and making a sharp edge. The three removable corrugated scratchers are great. The cats don't scratch on it; they just use it as a bed. But one of them puked in it, so it was easy to just throw out one of the liners and it was good as new. And since it's cardboard, not fabric, I can just vacuum it out easily to get rid of the cat hair that accumulates.A couple of my cats are pretty big (16, 17 and 19 lbs) and this thing holds up wonderfully over time.

It's inexpensive but the cats love it more!
I got this little bed for my kitten who loves to chew on cardboard boxes. She enjoys it but my older cats love it just as much. They like the size and the corrugated part of the box. They love to roll and scratch themselves in it. I wasn't sure it would stand up to all the abuse it was taking from all the cats but I was wrong. It is sturdy and well made and still looks decent despite the wear and tear it has taken. My cats have enjoyed this little inexpensive bed more than any of the bigger more expensive ones I've purchased.

What's not to love?
There are notes on one of the images. I can't imagine how this is not one of the best sellers on the planet. It has lasted 5 months and I still have only removed one layer. As far as design, this trumps everything I have bought in 2 decades.**edit**I see that the image has been sized down, making the notes too tiny to read. The photos are showing close-ups of the rippled cardboard layers. Also noted is my observation regarding the superior durability and strength of the rippled cardboard vs. normal corrugated scratch boards. This cardboard is solid - no weave/webbing - making it inherently stronger than the corrugated counterpart. However, like most reviewers here, I seem to have purchased a bed for her highness, not a scratch board. My cat has always liked laying on canvas bags and other rough textures so it does not surprise me too much that she is using it for slumber only. What DOES surprise me is that her 20 hours of sleep per day has been almost exclusively in this dumb box. If I were a cat I would not sleep on this surface. Just looking at the hard ridges gives me a backache. Then again, if I were a cat I would probably be spiteful too. I mean what else is there to live for? If it were not for being evil she would not have any hobbies to pursuit. How much pleasure can there be in an existence that includes ONLY --> Eat, lick herself, sleep, pee, stare at me, lick herself, poop, smell the other cat's butt, lick herself, chase da'bird, poop, lick herself..Yes, I'm certain that tormenting me is as good as life gets (aside from licking herself, of course). I'm sure she gets a perverse pleasure in rejecting the $1,000++ worth of comfy beds scattered about because - well - she's a cat. They like to always demonstrate their superiority to the human race even if it means sleeping on something as hard as a rock that's also textured like a potato chip. Sigh. Well, at least she knows where her chin belongs and I am almost certain she did not get that by reading the "CHIN SCRATCHER" printed on the box. As far as i know she does not speak English. Oh, BTW, said chin scratcher is HARD plastic with teeth like a jig-saw. I feel like it is going to sever her head one day if she has a bad dream! Yet she snoozes away in utter bliss with her neck on the most uncomfortable surface my human mind can imagine. She's mocking me.. again!

GET IT THEY LOVE IT!!!!
My cats LOVE this bed!!!!!! Only one will lay in it, because he is fighting his other sister and brothers over it. He won't let the other cats get near it. My little female licks him and licks him sort of putting him in a hipnotic state and then she squeeze in with him. He usually kicks her out after a while. Get it. If your cats at like mine, they will flip over it. I don't know why it's just cardboard but they LOVE IT!!! Maybe it's dipped in cat nip.? They sure act like it. I wish I had room for 3 more. I may get one and put another toy away to make room for it. Trust me this is so great for the cats. All of mine love it.

Not very durable...
The only reason I somewhat like this product is that my cat likes it, but she always likes new toys so that isn't an exact science. This product arrived damaged, the corner of the box was already ripped and the box only had 3 somewhat solid corners. For Example, the "original scratch lounche classic" was a very solid box that you can buy inserts for since the box is so solid, this scratch'n massage bed on the other hand has flimsy corners. My other issue with this product was that when i put it on a solid surface the bed itself would slide around like it had wheels, compared to some other scratch lounges that have at least perforations on the bottom to help prevent sliding around, this one is perfectly smooth bottom - be aware. For example, if my cat tried to stretch with front paws out of the box and back paws inside box, the box would slide back. If she tried to jump out or into the box the box would move around - this was a problem since I had this item on a desk originally, which had a flat surface and it could have ended up sliding off the table until i realized the issue and put it on the floor. I ended up having to use double sided tape all over the bottom of this box. The inserts or the actual bed of it that has the scratch post also dances around, there seems to be no way to solidly lock in place so it doesn't dance around.
