I kept getting debris and rocks stock on top of my flat drains. This solved the problem. Even if debris builds up on the side water can still flow into it. Pricey but worth not having to unclog drains every time it rains. It feels very robust but I have not tested having a vehicle drive on top. We have a drain in the parking area near our driveway.

My drain was constantly getting blocked up by debris, to the point where I had to go out multiple times in storms to clear off the leaves and garbage that constantly got sucked onto the drain. If I forgot, I would have a foot plus of water sitting in my yard. This is the perfect solution. Its heavy duty, large sized, and now I can finally stop worrying about rain and flooding because I've got this smart item.

Replaced a flimsy plastic version of this that was broken by a lawn mower. This was a perfect fit and much more durable!

I like the concept and design. After having my yard flooded from clogged drains (you just can't clean them enough) this one put an end to all that. Be aware though you still need to keep up with the debris though it doesn't make a daily ritual out of it.Now when a storm shows up I don't have to worry "did I clean the drain this morning? "

I am using it over a pop-up drain so rocks don’t get caught in it from my landscaping. It works beautifully. Perfect.
