For burns these are great! For sunburns, put it on and by the next day the redness is gone and you had a good nights sleep. For burns from heat, I have used them and the relief is immediate. For major burns it is not recommended as you can cause hypothermia.

Purchased this for a friend who was in a bad motorcycle wreck. He used it to soften all the scabs off of his face then he used Manuka Honey to speed up healing and prevent infection. He said this worked wonders. He used it and put it in the fridge and used it 2 days in a row. This helped soften all the scabs so he could reduce scaring

This is an essential addition to a first aid kit for fire breathers and their safeties. Thankfully, we have never had to use one of these, but it's important to have one on hand. My only complaint is that the shelf life is much closer to 2.5 years than the 5 years advertised on the package.
