Champion Olympic Grip Plate

Finally I don't have to wait for the other lifters to be done with using the 2.5 lbs. weight! I bought 2 of these that I can carry around in my gym bag and use whenever I want.I like the design with the 3 side holes. It helps me easily grip it when I need to.PROS:• Heavy duty, won't easily crack• Fits a standard barbell• Easy to grip and holdCONS:• No outter rubberized shellOverall, I wished they covered the outer with a rubberized material instead of the full acrylic finish. But not a deal-breaker. The only hassle is that I bought 2 of these, and carrying these around in my gym bags is cumbersome.

This item is for ONE plate. I bought 2 plates a few months ago and decided to add 2 more so I can toss them on my olympic dumbbell bars, too.I weighed all 4 plates and they're extremely even (I have a scale that is accurate to 1g). Plates were delivered loose in a box via an Amazon courier, so I can't say much about how they'd ship by air.Very satisfied with all 4 plates.

I ordered four of these each in 10 & 2.5 pound plates. Received them all in great condition except for a couple of the 2.5's which arrived chipped (see pic). No issues with burrs on the inside where the plates slide onto the bar. I weighed them all with a digital luggage scale, and they were 10.0 - 10.4 and 2.5 - 2.7 respectively. For this price I find that to be more than adequate. As far the finish goes, they were fine with the exception of maybe some sloppy silver paint and the few ugly chips as noted. But honestly, I use these to lift not to look at!

I heard that some people lift these on the end of big bars for fun, exercise and competition. That seems a silly use for these utility weights.I use it as ballast for a microphone stand that holds a video camera on-stage. It's great for that because the large center hole fits over the clutch and the weight just sits at the base, adding an extra 10-pounds of stability. I can also use it as a boom counter-weight with a velcro strap when holding lights with attached modifiers.

Got a set of 45 pound plates. They look great, smooth edges, no large defects or issues. The only complaint I have is that they are only 42 pounds. In the grand scheme of things, not a huge issue as I have small plates to compensate, just inconvenient. For the price I would say absolutely worth it though. I imagine you aren't looking for IPF regulation gear in bargain buys off amazon.

I ordered a pair of 10s to give me a bit more flexibility in my home weight room that I have worked hard to create. These are a welcome addition, came packed securely, and appear well made and nicely finished. No complaints and I am picky about my exercise equipment.

This was bought as part of setting up a home gym. It was picked up as an add-on item. The quality is great and worth it if picked up on the cheap. The only drawback is the regular price. Similar quality weight plates from CAP or Gold's Gym can be picked up at a cheaper price from Walmart.

I knew that a lockdown would take place in mid march and bought these before the gyms were closed and glad that I bought them. Standard weights went up double and triple because of the lockdown, but these weights are great and I have used these for several months.
