You need to follow the enclosed directions. I did not follow the directions but it still works even though I did not three times. I bought it as cheaper and very fast delivery of a on/off switch for a led light. Wired it finally as directed, left their ground lead flying out the side of the wall light fixture. One touch its on full brightness and on three additional touches it is fully off. I does work exactly as I though it would and due to a good design it still works even after several miss wires.

There are better options. Having said that I still use it with led but only has two levels. With incandescent works better and gives 3 lighting levels but who still has incandescent anymore with high cost of power.

Received the product today and replaced a defective module in my lamp. So far, everything is great. However, I feel the minimal directions provided by the seller in the description, although correct, may be difficult for someone with a non-technical background to understand. I have attached a crude diagram that I think will make it easier for others to understand. The symbol that the YELLOW wire is attached to is GROUND, or the chassis of the lamp. Hope this helps someone!

Got this in. Hooked it up the same as the old one I took out. Lamp wouldn’t turn on. Went back to reference the listing to verify wiring directions. That’s when I noticed that this is for 220V. All household appliances in the US use 110VAC, not sure why this is even listed for sale in the US.EDIT: I originally wired this up matching the same color wires as the original. I decided to try to find an actual diagram of the connections and found the attached diagram on another item on Amazon. I changed the wiring to match the diagram in the picture attached and it worked. Now that it’s working, my only complaint is the first brightness is basically unusable it’s so dim compared to the next two brightness settings. This is with a 60W bulb.

These are cheaply built sensors. They failed out of the box. The wires are too thin and do not connect well with the lamp wires. No instruction included.

This is for a 220 volts.In the United States Lamps, all lamps plug in electrical outlet at 110 volts.Waist of so much time

It didn't work, am in the process to get it replaced or charge back on my credit card.
