Great device, except if you use the English system (inches) you cannot easily visualize the measurement as this part of the tape faces internally.

Exactly What I Needed
The little measuring tape is great! It rewinds itself with ease. Just push the button. I can carry it with me when shopping for items for which I need to know the dimensions. I can keep it in my kitchen drawer and I don't have to get my husband's heavy, bulky measuring tape out of his workshop! YAY!

Product is exactly what I was looking for a tape measure for body measurements and sewing. Easy to read and has a push button locking mechanism to lock onto the measurement taken or to release the tape back. Shipping was very fast. All around a perfect transaction.

Pocket size, bends/folds easily over itself though, good for clothing
Pocket size measuring tape, pretty flexible and cute. It's great for measuring for clothes, though sometimes the tape can fold over and be somewhat tedious to keep from twisting/folding. You have to be careful to avoid retracting the tape with it folded as well, as you risk possible breaking it by getting it stuck. I'd say just be a little cautious when using the tape to avoid breaking its ability to retract.

Great tape measure
Click stop action so you never pull out more than you need and an easy retract button. Size is perfect and shape is wonderful in the palm of my hand.

Self locks at every inch or inch and a half?
I understand why it doesn’t start at three and the people that are leaving negative comments about it apparently don’t even see. It stated on the box because it’s leaving room for the plastic device, but I wish it didn’t lock so spaced out. I don’t understand how you can get an accurate reading with it. It should lock every millimeter or something.
