Taste is great, and as a family member owns multiple locations ...
A coworker of which I share snacks with brought these in one day. They grabbed it at Costco, as their first Korean bbq place was extremely enjoyable to them. So i started buying these only, and eventually upgraded to the 2-pack. Some other coworkers refer to this as their "crack" now and need their fixes from time to time. I gave a piece to our daily UPS driver who never had Korean BBQ. And I quote: "I would a pound of this a day, I wouldn't care if it was made from a pig's.......". Taste is great, and as a family member owns multiple locations of Korean BBQ restaurants for 30+ years, I can admit that it tastes fairly authentic. If you like Korean BBQ, you'll definitely like this. A bag of this is about the same price as an order of galbi, but this you can portion control yourself much more easily, as long as you possess a little more than an ounce of discipline and restraint.

The Best Jerky That I've Ever Eaten!
I ordered four different varieties of jerky - those that I thought would be the best based on Amazon reviewer ratings: Kirkland Signature Steak Strips, Jacks Links Teriyaki, Braaitime South African Biltong, and finally - Golden Island Korean Barbecue Pork Jerky. The Kirkland Steak strips was thick and tender, with a little gristle. The Jacks Links flavorful and salty, but tough. The Braaitime Biltong was not salty, and it tasted like a combination of pork tenderloin and SF sourdough bread without any salt - a very interesting taste. The real surprise winner of this impromptu tasting contest was the Golden Island Korean Pork Jerky. Why? It was very tender. There was no gristle. The pieces were very large. The taste was SWEET and smoky, with a lingering undertone of teriyaki flavor at the end - it is simply delicious. It is very expensive on Amazon, but given that, this is the best jerky that I've ever eaten by far. I am thinking about stocking up on this item.

5 Star Jerky! Taste Great.
I originally got a pack of this at one of the big box stores, and loved the product. As it goes with the big box stores they do not always have the same products next time you visit. I searched Amazon to see if i could find this to buy it again, sure enough it was there waiting for me to buy it! This is a little expensive for jerky - but the flavor is amazing and so worth the cost. The flavor is spot on for Korean bbq - This is a fairly large package and I would suggest keeping in the fridge after opening it. That is if it last that long, my wife and kids all love this jerky too, so it goes pretty fast at our house. Will definitely re-order this product.

Probably the best jerky out there... if you get a fresh bag
I've bought this several times and I can say that half of the time I bought it, the actual jerky has been in 2 different condition. Still edible but depending on the condition, taste like they're completely different brands. Sometimes you'll get a bag full of this more hard, fine, long strip kind of jerky while other times you'll have this really dry and soft smaller cut jerky. The prior being what you see from images advertising the merchandise while the latter I felt tasted really stale, as if it was an offbrand product or used a completely different type of meat. I think if you really want consistently in this brand, you should go and buy it yourself instead of doing so online, that way you can examine the product instead of having random people select product they likely forgot to rotate dates. Though I'm sure there are some that can appreciate the latter described jerky, I much prefer the prior and it has just become a gamble at whether I get one or the other.

Not cheap..
...and worth every tasty chew! This product is NOT like other jerked items I've tried (Tillamook, Jack Links, Oberto). It's much softer, beter tasting, and certainly sweet. I've heard one, 'Too sweet for me,' remark but honestly, that came from a skim-milk, lo-fat, 'no more bacon for me' kind'a guy. Really! You can't put a lot of stock in the comment of someone that doesn't ALways have room for another piece of bacon! The strips are large, but easily tear with the grain. I carried it for over a week on my last outing and the last piece was as good as the first. For me, this won't likely be a constant companion in my pack because of the price, but it surely is a treat!!

Bak kwa dupe
If you like bak kwa, Chinese BBQ pork jerky, but you can’t buy it in the United States, get this. It has a similar texture and flavor. It satisfied my FIL’s craving while he couldn’t travel to buy his own in Singapore.

Great value, great taste
Tender, flavorful cuts of pork. The flavors are pretty comparable to bulgogi, a bit too sweet for my palate however. Always on the quest for delicious jerky at a reasonable price, this is definitely one of the better buys out there unless you're buying bulk. This is even a good buy for people who don't usually care for jerky. Your jaw won't hurt after eating a whole bag in one sitting. Yes, I shamefully know. Great product, will buy more in the future.Update: 3/3/2016 - I bought another three bags of this stuff for my father on his birthday. Prime got it there in two days and he was a happy camper. Superb, updating to 5 stars for consistency of product and reliability!

A bit sticky, but tastes good and the meat is decently cut thin
This was the first time I had tried jerky pork, so I was a little unsure during my purchase. I couldn't find a smaller package, but gave this a chance...The meat is cut into phone or hand-sized pieces, sliced thin. The meat does not "rip" across the grain easily; you will want to tear a long narrow strip along the grain. Apparently pork muscle fibers hold together more than beef or turkey; who knew?Taste/texture: Unlike other jerky I've had (which is often like a dry-rub flavor texture), this seasoning "coats", like a sauce that was dried on. This is not really a complaint, but an observation: you're not going to snack on this while driving the way you could with other jerky, and you'll want to wipe your hands clean on something afterwards. I liked this jerky and I'm sure to buy it again sometime,
