Does what it says...
Purchased this given that it supports setting upper and lower alarm limits on HR and SpO2.Have used the unit continuously for the last couple of days and appears to be reasonably accurate. Have test both the alarm function...works as expected/advertised.Note: The default setting this monitor is to beep with every heartbeat but the speaker can be muted to essentially turn off the continuous beeping without affecting the sounding of an alarm. In other words, you can mute the speaker (to disable the heart rate beeping) and the device will automatically unmute the speaker to sound a HR and/or Sp02 alarm if the associated upper/lower limits are exceeded.Does exactly what we need it to do to continuously monitor our daughter's condition. We use the "infant" sensor on our adult daughter's toe as a more secure alternative to the finger clamp sensor.Would recommend for anyone needing for like reasons.

Great product
Regular oxymeters never work on my dad’s finger. This one reads his finger very quickly

Accurate, good value, no phone app. needed.
Good: Oximeter is reasonably accurate and has a low O2 threshold alarm. Good fingertip sensor. Easy to read screen, self contained and doesn't need an app. Relatively inexpensive for what it includes.Bad: Orig. designed for AA batts. but instead has small rechargeable battery pack that only lasts about 2 nights. Screen a little too bright. Buttons are a little tough to get used to.

First impressions, WOW!
My daughter uses the Nelcor Covidien pulse ox but it is currently broken and will need to be sent to the manufacturer for repair. I bought this as a backup after 5pm yesterday and didn't expect much from the free overnight shipping, but it was literally on my doorstep before 9am this morning. Very pleased to get it so quickly! I purchased this with my HSA, it IS eligible. My daughter has not used this yet, and I had to order the pediatric probe #75 off the actual website (also HSA eligible) so it's not here yet, but I got it all set up and tested it on myself and I am pretty impressed so far!It comes very well packaged. The case it comes with is super nice, and it has the adult probe, infant probe, a wall charger and cord, and a USB-C to USB cable that I assume is meant to plug the machine into a computer to download data. Also comes with the stand, case, a user manual, and a quick setup guide. The quick setup guide is easy to use, well illustrated, and I was able to set everything to the correct limits to match the Covidien unit in just a few minutes. All of the pieces and manuals fit neatly in the case, so you can keep everything with the unit. This unit is about the size of a very chunky cell phone, so it doesn't take up nearly as much space as our Covidien unit. Could probably fit in a large pocket without too much trouble. The only downside I can see so far to this is that when you first start it up it starts beeping as it reads your sats. All you have to do to stop it is hit the mute button so this is a very minor annoyance, and hitting mute will not keep it from alarming again if the sat limits are violated. I personally just REALLY detest hearing a pulse ox alarm, it automatically raises my anxiety, so I wish there was a way to disable that completely.I will update this review as we use it more if I have anything to add, but thus far I am extremely pleased with my purchase and I am super thankful to have a great secondary unit on hand for such a reasonable price, as my insurance will not pay for another one even with our first one being broken.Update: battery is supposed to last 12 hours. I think I got about 10 from it, continuous use. Not bad at all! Definitely more than enough for a full day of school and most outings we would need to take. Would always recommend having a charger on hand for any unit anyway, but nice to be able to be away from an outlet for extended periods of time.

Need pediatric finger sensor
I wanted and need a pediatric finger sensor. I have both the adult and infant yet not the pediatric sensor. I see no option to purchase it separately. I do like that I can recharge it but it's not all I need so more than likely I will return it.

Best portable O2SAT machine.
I just got this today. We compared with the hospital monitor and it's 99% accurate. I'm glad I bought this one. I have peace of mind to go home and knowing that I have the right O2SAT machine that I can rely on. I'm crossing my fingers that it will last longer. I really highly recommend for anybody to buy this brand.

Try another product.
I purchased this product for my child who has to be monitored after a cardiac procedure. I’ve had this product for 5 months now and only chose this product because it was approved by the cardiac team treating my child. It was also required to purchase this in order for my child to go home. I also visit the cardiologist on a regular basis and they also check the heart rate, and oxygen levels at every visit. I get numbers for his oxygen level that are typically higher than what I see in the office by 5-10 in difference. I also have to measure his levels on his foot, not toes because he is smaller in size. Sometimes it takes a long time for numbers to show and I have to play with it by changing the position or rewrapping the applicator. It’s also very loud when it beeps; which means I will only measure it while he is awake so I don’t wake him from his naps. It does have a mute button but I have to repeatedly press it if the numbers are lower than the alarm settings. You can change the settings for when the alarm goes off but his norm changes over time so I don’t bother. This is an expensive product so I expect better accuracy and less trouble with getting it to provide reading levels. Sometimes it shows one or the other and not both at the same time; which isn’t a big deal but I just expected more for an item that cost so much. I only charged it once when I first got the item and haven’t had to charge it again yet, but I only use it for a few minutes at least 2-3 times a week. I had no issues with delivery and no missing parts. The case is also helpful to keep the parts I need together.
