Arbuckle'sAutodrip Ground Coffee (ARIOSA)

It's hard to stand out as a good coffee these days. I can name quite a few coffees that deserve to be considered "gourmet" based on taste and aroma, so to say "Arbuckle's coffee is pretty good" is to say it ranks up there with some of the best coffees I've made.My son is into the Old West and the life of cowboys in the 1800's. He mentioned this brand was so popular cowboys would ask for a cup of Arbuckle's when they wanted a cup of coffee. I can understand why. Full flavor with not a lot of aftertaste. Smooth. Not real bitter. I usually use salted butter or salt in my coffee when brewing to cut the bitter, but I brewed a pot of just plain old grounds and it was great. I plan to buy a bag from time to time to keep my son happy.

This coffee is very smooth and flavorful. And...there's a peppermint stick in the package! Wrapped, of course. Fun

My husband is an avid reader of novels about the old west, especially the Jess Williams series. They always talk about Arbuckles coffee and how great it is. A peppermint stick was placed in each bag to add flavor out on the trail. He wondered if you could still buy it.I went to Amazon and found it from a sponsor. It is not cheap especially with shipping but it made a great birthday present. It does have a great flavor and the peppermint stick was in the bottom of the bag! The bag also has the history of Arbuckles. Really pleased with the purchase

Love the history of this coffee! Makes for a fun gift for the coffee lover. It's fun that it comes with a peppermint stick just as it has since the beginning. Was tasty coffee just a bit pricey, but am happy to support a family business though. We liked this best prepared on the stove.
