El Milagro Classic Corn Maiz Natural Soft Tortillas for Tacos, Cooking, etc - 6 Pack

After I moved from Chicago to the Bay Area, I discovered that there were certain foods I had taken for granted. It was a surprise to me that these were not available around the country. One of them was Milagro Tortillas, which my family had been buying and using for decades. We lived about 4 miles north of the tortilleria and I learned to dig down for the warmest (freshest) packs in the Milagro boxes at my local supermarket.Out here I thought the tortillas would be superb, since California used to *be* Mexico, right? Nope. They are awful awful awful. Even the ones made in local tortillerias (which I sought out) were disappointingly heavy and bland.So as soon as I saw that Amazon was selling them right from Little Village, I was like Holey-Moley! and ordered a half-cdozen. Kept one out and put the other five in the freezer. This morning I made chorizo con huevos and used the Milagro tortillas. I felt like I was back home again. These are the tastiest tortillas you'll find, and bonus they are very low on calories and carbs too.

I promise myself EVER to buy supermarket tortillas again ! What a difference do these tortillas make?This is exactly the flavor a tortilla should be, and once you eat this you will never go to just a tortillasupermarket brand. I am ordering again and again because it was very satisfying to eat in a real Mexican style.New Comment: responding to someone who said the tortillas came out broken and therefore difficult to use. While this might extremely true , my experience to protect the tortillas is: AS SOON as you receive the order ,open the package and transfer it to a clean bag, Insert between each tortilla parchment to keep them fresh. In my humble opinion that is a great solution. So you take the tortillas from the refrigerator as needed to warm up or fry and you can enjoy.

This is the 3nd time I ordered these tortillas and it happened again....they have a spit in the center and the flavor taste like poison.

When I received my tortillas, they were in tiptop shape and condition however, they didn’t last long. A few of them started developing the mold from the inside out.

We recently moved from El Paso TX to a small town in central Texas. The Mexican food here is quite different from where we used to live. I haven’t been able to find any authentic corn tortillas that taste like corn tortillas should! I decided to order El Milagro corn tortillas from Amazon to try them out. Lo and behold, they are delicious and taste like the corn tortillas we ate in El Paso. Thank you for selling your product on Amazon. Now to make some tacos! 🌮
