UV Nose Guard UPF 50+ (for Health reasons nose guards may not be returned)

Easily slides over my sunglasses, and completely overs my nose. I had to have some precancerous surgery on my nose, so I find this device a way to keep sun off the skin on my nose. Since I am an avid gardener, I use this each time I step outside to garden.

I purchased one of these a couple of years ago after having Basel cell cancer removed from my nose. This was in late December so winter was in full swing. Bonus feature! Not only does it protect my skin, it’s great for keeping my nose warm. I recently purchased another because the first one is showing signs of wear on the underside. So glad I was able to reorder.

This nose guard is just what I have been looking for to protect my fair skinned nose.I have numerous pairs of Oakley sunglasses and modified the velco tab to fit the rubber nose piece that is common to most of my Oakley's. (see photos)I trimmed the velco tab and it now fits through the Oakley nose piece. The tab is hidden and the shield provides full coverage.Ordered and 2nd NozKon.Nozkon should modify their patent to cover Oakley's....

Works perfect keeps the sun off

I purchased this for my husband because he’s had a lot of skin cancer on his nose and I wanted him to be protected. The piece of leather was designed to hook to glasses over the nose and remained in place. But they did not remain in place. They didn’t cover his entire nose which left the area is exposed to the sun. The look of it didn’t matter because it was supposed to cover your nose and the durability well, it’s a piece of leather, so it’s durable, but as far as functionality now it was not worth the money.

I bought this because there is nothing on the market that I could find that will keep your nose warm and not fog up your sunglasses or goggles. I wore these on a cold 10° morning, and it worked very well. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, so I took off one star. I took off another star because the loop needs to be a little longer (about 1/2”) - it barely fits over my sunglasses, and there’s no way it would fit over a pair of goggles like they recommend in their instructions. Also, I’d prefer the nose guard itself to be a little bigger and then let us trim it to a perfect size. I have a medium size nose, and it’s not fully covered with the guard. Despite all that, I do recommend it.

I’ve used this a couple of times. It’s adjustable to shade even a large nose, and you can trim it if you’re protecting a small nose. It doesn’t look funny at all to me when I’m wearing it, but in fairness I’m totally looking over it at such times. Yesterday I was paddle boarding in the Peace River and I snagged on a log , lost my balance, and splashed into the river. Everything got very bright all of a sudden and then I remembered that this floats most sunglasses. Sure enough, Little Nosy had a tight grip on my shades, and I was able to grab them.Overall, this is a great addition to a hat and a Buff sun scarf.

Got this for my husband, he installs commercial glass walls and windows and the glare of the sun off the glass has turned the bridge of his nose purple. People ask about his nose shield and he can show that only after wearing it approx 6 months the color of his nose is becoming more like the rest of his face and doesn't look like he has been in 35 below zero or look like a lifeguard with a ton of zinc oxide trying to protect his nose.
