JoJos Bizarre Adventure Set One: Phantom Blood / Battle Tendency (Eps 1-26) - Blu-ray

Lovely design and style of the Blu Ray case, Definitely a must have for hardcore JoJo fans or in general, Physical Blu-Ray collectors. All in all a fantastic experience

JJBA is very old-school hand-drawn anime, with surprisingly gory content. While it might not look to be on the same page as Berserk or Castlevania's bloody sausage guts in your face blood spurting mayhem, it seems that a lot more of the violent content is spoken. This is surprisingly effective! So, while Castlevania might show a demon ripping someone's face off, JJBA will have a character who says something like, " my zombie demons will eat the face off your screaming skull!" Which is more effective is moot. Oh, yes I nearly forgot. JJBA is chock full of juicy homoerotic content. My gaydar started gently bleeping quite early on, and by episode 7 the flashing red light had blown and the klaxon had come off the wall and was hanging precariously by a couple of frayed wires. There's nothing wrong with it, just be aware.

Been watching JoJo on crunchyroll for the past year and I always noticed the poor quality of streaming. Due to it being a show I've enjoyed and a manga I've equally loved I brought the blu ray for the better quality. Instantly the opening was sharper and contrast through out was better than the streaming options.It comes with enlgihs dub and Japanese with English subtitles and the latter was my preffered option due to the iconic Japanese voices.My only negative for this package the price , £35 for 2 parts of an animated show seems little steep compared to the clone wars blu ray which was £40 when I got it and contained 5 25+ episode blu rays.Overall it's JoJo in nicer quality than steaming and I am very happy with that.

Will edit review after watching part 2(Warning- for new newcomer's the opening of the epiosdes are a spoiler to what happens in the first part)Arrived in good condition , after finishing the first 9 episodes all I can say that its really bizzare .... But I did feel that it was a bit rushed to I'm going to check out the manga which was what I was going to do for all parts eventually anyway,I also now understand alot of the references and memes that I keep seeing also the ending song is great.

I got this for my teenage daughter who is obsessed with JoJo’s bizarre adventure. She was absolutely over the moon with this gift. It contains extra content and hidden scenes. The episodes are also slightly longer which is perfect!

I bought all 3 Blu-rays. JoJo needs to be watched from the start. It starts bizarre (it's in the title) Stick with it, get the Blu-ray set as all streaming sites (legit) have been censored. Try it on NF then buy it!!!This is the first Manga I have purchased I liked it that much. Pity no 4k version! Overall get all the set of you want the best quality and no black smudges!! Where can I buy a JoJo T saying rararrarararrrraaaraaaa!

A great start to an even greater series, this is a 9/10 to me. I wouldn't skip part 1 as I feel like this part acts as a foundation to subsequent parts.Then part 2 it gets even better and more 'bizarre' and overall I'd say it is worth owning as I consider it rewatchable.
