164ft Natural Cotton Cord 1/4 inch Thick for Rope Craft Projects

I used this to make several large drawstring bags. It is strong and worked very well. Needed 100% cotton so I was very happy to find this.

I purchased this rope because I am making a rope rug after many failed attempts at making a jelly roll rug. I used the same fabric and just covered the rope. I am able to fit it under the foot of my sewing machine. My first order arrived very quickly and I was going to order some more because 1 spool only makes a rug with a 31 inch diameter and I want a bigger rug. Unfortunately when I went back to order more it was going to take over a month for it to arrive so I had to order more from somewhere else. Otherwise it's good rope.

I'm using this for bondage but I did hear the unraveling complaints before buying. Whatever you use it for I have a solution. If you cut this rope it will completely unravel at the ends. It doesn't do it before cause the ends are plastic wrapped upon delivery. If you need to cut this rope you can buy what I have pictured. It's for electrical wire so that's where you'll find it in home depot. You can burn the rope where you need it cut, or better yet, tape it with clear tape and cut in the center. Once done use this electrical shrink wrap to hold the ends together. No unraveling. I cut these in half but you could probably be okay with cutting into thirds.

Overall a great cotton rope for crafts and not for things that require something more durable, think more along the lines of really large yarn than rope.My only issue with the product and the reason I took off a star was because the diameter is not wholly accurate. I ordered the 1/4" rope and if you leave the rope loose and flatten it down a bit it reaches the 1/4" diameter, but if you have it taught and round it's just under 3/16" which was a bummer.Overall, it's a nice soft cotton rope as stated, no funky smells that sometimes happens on shipped ropes, and was clean. If not for the diameter issue it would have been perfect, but I'll return this and probably get a size up.

Love this product. I use it for sewing bowls or baskets and that type of thing. Easy to use and good quality.

Didn’t receive the correct amount or length that it says. Unrolls rather easy and pretty thick for what it’s in the description. It was complicated to work with because it kept unrolling I’m not sure what the word is here. But could have been better. Does easily brush out for sure.

I became interested in making rope baskets, and this rope worked quite well The rope is twisted, so you need a bit of care when feeding the rope. After creating the base disk, I basted it to a piece of hooped stabilizer and set it up on my embroidery machine to put on an embroidered design. The rope took the embroidery well.
