I received my bed a few months ago and did not open it since it was still several months until we were expecting to need it. We just opened it up and set it up and are so thrilled with the quality of the product. Stable, visually appealing, convenient, great size, the adjustable height is a great feature allowing it to 'fit' alot of different places and totally simple to put together and figure out. My only little tweak I would ask them to make on the product is to make the pad at the bottom a little thicker. It is pretty thin and I feel I will have to lay down an extra layer or two just for comfort. On top of all that, I never received the sheets that I ordered for it with the bed. I contacted them even though it was several months later and they HAD APPRARENTLY been delivered...but Venice Child was understanding of the crazy mail situation these days and they were sure to send me out another set the next day! Thank you Venice Child! Looking forward to cuddling my little person up in their bed.

quality of the bassinet is great! the bassinet is super sleek and modern looking. the wooden pieces are just metal with a sticker wrapped around it, i think. i haven’t been able to fully enjoy it because now we have a newborn and what is time anymore? haha. it was super easy to assemble. the storage underneath is a little flimsy but it does the trick of holding diapers and wipes. one of the reasons i was sold on this bassinet was because of the storage. however, the real star of this review is the company and customer service! i asked if they could ship it sooner because who knows when baby will come? so they did and i got it in a day or two (to be fair, i’m also near their warehouse)! then , the bassinet i received was defective so they immediately sent a replacement! they’ve been top notch with customer service and have been so responsive! their customer service really has been terrific and i couldn’t recommend buying from them enough!

We are so happy with the Venice Child bassinet. Great value for money, very sleak and modern looking, and perfect for our newborn. Clean, cozy, safe, very spacious and sturdy. Easy to move around and adjust to meet our bed height so we can keep eyes on her at all times. The dropdown mesh section is great. We leave it down all the time now without worry, even when we are sleeping. Venice child were very communicative and responsive on a personal level which we really appreciated. Thank you so much.

This tilts to the side and causes baby to roll. I woke up so many times with my baby completely pressed against the side and corner of the bassinet, before she was able to roll at all. The bassinet is not level and is poorly made, you can see the stitching on the inside is not straight, causing it to slant no matter what you do. I thought the other reviews saying the same thing were just people who didn’t know how to put together the bassinet - I was wrong, this is just a very poor product. It looks nice and is easy to put together, but will not allow for safe sleep.

Beautiful co sleeping bassinet. Clean design and stores efficiently. Great price compared to other co sleepers of this style. So excited to have found something w an open side for night feedings and tilts to manage reflux. Wish we had this w our first child. Also a nice weight. It’s sturdy but light enough to move from bedroom to main room. It checks off so many boxes for us! I contacted customer service about a concern and they not only remedied the problem but went way above and extremely quickly. I choose our baby products carefully and tend to stick w larger European brands but would absolutely recommend this co to anyone who is unsure about a smaller brand. Can’t wait to use it!

I am absolutely in love with this bassinet and so happy I purchased it. I am a single momAnd heavily pregnant and exhausted so I thought this would be super heavy and difficult to assemble but it wasn’t. I read the instructions and it was together in less than 3 minutes. Also the little sheet that comes with the mattress pad is super soft and it’s easy to unzip to get baby out and goes right by the bed for any mamas that may be having a c section.*Edit* so I came back here to edit my review after 2 months of having this bassinet. It now makes a weird creaking noise that wakes up my daughter all the time. It’s not very stable and moves easily. It’s a pain to take apart. We were moving and couldn’t get the top part off to fit into the bag it came with so we had to transfer it completely built on top of that there’s no videos anywhere showing how to take apart.

So far, so good! We are due in about a month so this may change considerably once our little one gets here, but I love the style and quality of this bassinet. It was incredibly easy to assemble - we had it up and going in less than 5 minutes. It also seems incredibly sturdy which was the main reason we went with this style. The mattress does seem a bit thin and wasn't quite what I was expecting but as a first time mom I’m very new to all this. Overall the bassinet tho is Very nice!

It's really easy to set up, the bassinet part literally just clicks into the legs. The basket is very sturdy, with nice strong, soft, breathable mesh all around. It's easy to convert to side-car, HOWEVER mine isn't level. It doesn't matter if the side is up or down, one side tilts to the side enough that my newborn kept rolling from the middle to the side.The bottom is also very hard. The mattress is thin, about ¾ inches, and after only 3 weeks of use, it was indented where her head lay. My daughter was very uncomfortable in this bassinet, she only sleeps 20 - 40 minutes at a time in it if I'm lucky. I stopped using it after a month.It's a really expensive clothes basket now.
