So far so good for me with this product! I've always had trouble "going". I just chalked it up to that's how my body was supposed to be. A friend told me about this, so I decided to try it out. I have taken it 3 days in a row, and I'm amazed. It's almost like clockwork. I didn't think I could gag down a tablespoon, so have started with a fairly heaping teaspoon, once a day. I'd like to build up to more so I can also use this as an appetite suppressant. My friend takes it in a glass of water. I tried that, but this stuff becomes concrete if you don't wash it right away. It was sticking to everything including my sink. So today I tried what one reviewer said, and just took a spoonful, then washed it down. That may be the better way for me. It's kind of hard to just swallow I will say. Feels like eating sawdust. But I had so much less mess, and the discomfort with this weird stuff in my mouth is only a few seconds so I think I can handle it. Make sure to drink lots of water. I also read one reviewer who said she gave 1/4 teaspoon to her cat to help in that respect. My two dogs have trouble going sometimes, so I gave it to them (just once so far). My girl handled it fine, but my boy seemed sick for 2 days and didn't eat or drink anything. If I'd thought it through, I would have recalled that they don't drink much water. So I'm not sure I can continue giving it to them. Still, for me so far, it's worth its weight in gold!

Great stuff, I took it once a day to keep me regular. If you're having a hard time mixing it, the best thing I've found is to use one of those electric whiskers / milk frothers. Put the powder in the cup first then your water and mix it immediately. You can't let it sit in the water for long. I just drink it really fast and that's best for me. I prefer the orange flavor but I've had no flavor as well and it tastes like nothing

I read many articles stating by adding psyllium husk to gluten free bread recipe, it will yield a much softer, pliable, and manageable dough (it's true!). The biggest complaint some people have with incorporating psyllium husk into the bread recipe is the bread turning purple. The color doesn't affect the taste of the bread but it just looks weird.After doing some research and tests, I came to the conclusion that psyllium husk does make the dough resemble more like traditional gluten dough, however, if you want to avoid purple bread/pastry, please use psyllium WHOLE husk instead of the powder form.I make my gluten free bread using psyllium WHOLE husk and it turned out looking like a traditional loaf without the purple hue. This is a good brand and I will definitely make more purchases in the future.

It's my 3rd day I think, drinking this and so far not much has happened. I drink twice a day a full table spoon with lots of liquids like it says to. I have noticed that I don't have such a hard time 💩 like i used to, so that's good! But I really haven't been using the bathroom as much or more than i usually do... No bloating either so that's good or no other bad side effect. I'm also giving some to my cat because she's been having some issues going potty too and so far the same thing! Her stool is back to being soft and not hard! So yay!

This product does exactly what it's supposed to do. You do have to mix it and drink right away or it will get thick and hard to swallow rather quickly. But that is what it's supposed to do, it is the "bulking" type fiber. It has a pleasant, non artificial taste. I bought this because I was looking for an alternative to Metamucil, without the prop 65 lead warning. It works well and good price.

This stuff is the best. It will change how things go for you, if you know what I mean. Seriously.Tastes fine after one or two tries.

The product seems fine, but once you take the little foil cap off, there’s no lid to reseal the canister.

I started my psyllium journey years ago with Trader Joe’s Secret of the Psyllium. It worked like a charm for me for years, with daily smooth movements. Then they discontinued their brand and replaced it with some other brand, which was similar but a bit darker in color.Suddenly, my daily movement went back to being a chore, with more sticky consistency and multiple wipes required to clean. I didn’t know if it was my diet, my medications or the water, but things had definitely changed and not for the better.This went on for years and then last week I came across this psyllium from India. I read a review which stated that this product was a more white appearing psyllium and was better for digestion. I then recalled that the Trader Joe’s brand used to mention something about “blonde” husks being in their product. I used this India psyllium ONE TIME and lo and behold, back to the smoother, cleaner easier movement!!Thank goodness for this product and I will now order multiple replacements.If you are having issues with the darker psyllium brands I would highly recommend you give this one a try.
