Amazing knife for the price
I have to start off by saying man, this knife is incredibly sharp right out of the box. I found that out the hard way unfortunately, but I can't blame the knife for that. Was using it to whittle a little bit the day it arrived (which it worked beautifully for) and I was a bit distracted (going through a bunch of not great stuff at the moment) and somehow the blade slipped from what I was working on, getting me right in the thumb and right above the webbing in my hand. Didn't share the pic of the gory details/aftermath of that, but you can still see the area of my thumb that's still healing from the incident. To say I immediately knew I done messed up would be an understatement. Again, not the knifes fault. Always respect your tools, or be prepared for a painful lesson. Anyway, outside of the crazy sharp blade, it seems to be incredibly solid so far, as far as build quality goes, and the wave opener is honestly one of the most fun and satisfying ways I've ever opened a folding knife. Ever. I've seen a few reviews with issues such as blade play and all that, but I haven't experienced any such issues myself as of yet. Will update if I do, but as it stands, I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and it's quickly become my EDC of choice. If you're considering getting it, I don't think you're going to find many better knives at this price point, so I'm sure you'll love it.

Could not ask for more at this price point. THRILLED!
I had put this family of knifes on my own personal wishlist 3 months ago because I loved the idea of the wave feature. I do not carry or own a firearm and to me a pocket knife should be useful for every day tasks but be ready when necessary for self defense. This does both! The wave feature makes it instantly accessible without any (to the best of my knowledge) illegal features. It is ready to perform ANY task as soon as it leaves my pocket. And I'm so glad I waited for the D2 steel blade, which was a happy accident. I enjoy just taking this knife out of my pocket. It's better than a fidget spinner for idle hands. The blade is razor sharp out of the box and because I just enjoy using this knife I have since taken up whittling. I have now nearly completed a walking stick and the blade will still shave hairs off my arm and don't have a single blister on my hands! I am not a knife enthusiast and I know there are far better knives on the market but for the price you CANNOT beat this knife. My dislikes are so minimal that I'm not even going to bother listing them. If I had paid $100 dollars I'd still be happy with this knife. Lastly, I'd like to give the seller some props because the knife is 30 something dollars cheaper than listed on the Kershaw website and the knife arrived a full 3 days earlier than what the estimated day of arrival was! I ordered it Friday night and it was here Monday when I got home from work and all in original packaging and boxing. If you are someone who cares about function more than trendy styles or just wants a nice edc knife then look no further. This is your new go to knife.Update 6/5/2020 - I just ordered my second knife not because it broke or I lost it but because it is so awesome I don't wanna be without it again. I use it every day, have carved multiple walking sticks with it, cut away tape on metal surfaces almost daily, and only had to sharpen it once or twice. I can't get it back to factory sharp but it is always sharp enough to handle the task at hand and hold it's edge forever! If I have my way I'll buy two more and be set for life assuming I'll inevitably lose a couple along the way!

Perfect for my needs
It looks great, the feature of opening will being pulled from the pocket is great (as long as you're pants are not thin/loose).It wasn't quite as sharp right out of the box as i expected, but I'm not disappointed at all.It feels well built and well worth what I paid for it.

This is my favorite knife!
I bought this Kershaw Emerson CQC-6K knife to carry with me while I am hunting deer to use for field dressing. I wanted a knife that could hold an edge well enough, but also take an edge easily enough when I need to sharpen it. I have an apex sharpener that uses a series of wetstones, and some pocket knives are difficult to sharpen because of the thumb stud on the flat of the blade. This one has a thumb button on the top of the blade that you can remove, so nothing will obstruct your ability to sharpen this knife. When it arrived, it was not particularly sharp, but I got out my sharpening kit and made it ridiculously sharp in a few minutes, and it was easily slicing through paper. This knife has a pretty cool feature for people who might want to carry this for self-defense. It has a "hook" on the top of the blade so that you can pull it out of your pocket and catch this hook on your pocket and completely open the knife in one smooth motion. I will not need to do this in the woods, but I like this knife so much that I decided not to use it as a hunting knife after all, but to just keep it for myself and keep it nicer.

You get what you pay for.
I'm disappointed with this knife for a couple of reasons. The first reason is the sharpness has dulled quickly. The second reason is that it is a little hard to open and close. I didn't pay alot for this knife, but it didn't live up to the Kershaw reputation.
