I must say, I bought this not sure what to expect based on some bad reviews and was pleasantly surprised. BUY THIS. I split a heavy duty 520 renthal motocross chain in less than 60 seconds. The pin head does flatten slightly under the pressure how ever you get a spare. With that being said I haven’t needed to replace the pin and I’ve split 3 chains for buddies (2 for them and one on my bike) hope this helps. I’m please and it’s earned it’s placed in my Mx tool box

Really easy to use, did the job well. My first time changing the chain and sprocket and went quite well, driven to London and back since.
