The New Cambridge Companion to Nietzsche (Cambridge Companions to Philosophy)

Recommended Addition to your Library
This may not be *the* book to go to for all your Nietzsche needs, but it’s a good one. I found Pippin’s treatment of Beyond Good and Evil to be a particularly worthwhile read. Reviewers who wish this away with a simple hand wave, harkening to Kauffman, just don’t get the value of various voices commentating. (These people have definitely read Nietzsche. And Kauffman.)

Read Nietzsche, not others writing about Nietzsche
Read Nietzsche, not others writing about Nietzsche. The authors don't appear to have read Nietzsche, but various iterations of Nietzsche. Maybe first, second, third, etc, interpretations. Not just this book, all writings about Nietzsche. Walter Kaufmann is the lone exception.
