Works great, no smell, not greasy. We ordered Emla a long time ago for another reason. When my husband got shingles we went through the whole tube of Emla and wanted more. No available on Amazon, or in local drugstores. So we ordered this because a review compared it favorably to Emla. It is definitely comparable to Emla and a lot less expensive.

Used this for a thigh piece I had finished. Only had time to leave it on for about 30 mins, really did the job! At first I didn't feel a thing but as they would periodically wipe away the extra ink it brought the nerves back to life. I'd say the numbing helped for about an hour of detailed color work. Really helps!

I would recommend this product to anyone needing a topical anesthetic.Some background -- Im getting a tattoo lasered off, and my clinic recommended this product; it worked as advertised and definitely alleviated some of the pain.Pros: works great, fast, and easy to apply.Cons: expensive, and costs a lot for a small tube.

I tried it to pierce mu nose. And its did numb nothing. I wasted my money and all it is well is a scream for nothing. I can keep it and well throw it away, I tried it on cutes and stuff and it don't do nothing and no matter how much I used or hoe little I used or how long I left it on it didn't work. AGAIN I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THE PEOLE WHO SAID IT DIDIN'T WORK. But NOPE not me I have to say I will give it a try and again I wasted y money and I end up with crap. If you are going to get a tattoo or a piercing you are better of just going threw with it case tattoos don't hurt much they are aggravating and piercings only hurt for a second and poof its done so you really do not need anything to numb up anything and I wish I realized this before paying for this crap. I got my dermals done with nothing and it only felt like a pinch and poof it was done and over and since it was so none painful I went and got another and I also got my nose done and my septum. And none of it was that painful its true when people say its not that painful. And I wish I had gone threw with it instead of buying this crap. Plz I am begging you. You are better off keeping your money and if you need anything numbed up before getting its done use an Ice cube at least that works and its free out of your freezer. But trust me a lot of you can handle having a baby you can handle getting a tattoo or a piercing with no problem its not as bad as a lot of other pain like a broken bone ECT. You get the point. SO STOP TURN BACK AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A NICE SHIRT OR PIERCING INSTEAD.

I got this for use on dressing change on large post op wounds. It worked fabulous. You do not need a lot of it. It truly helped !
