Excellent for the stamp collection

All were very high quality ,new and uncanceled . I’d forgotten the feeling of the engraving on the stamp face . Bonus ! A 1947 souvenir stamp block . . Thanks !

I used to collect stamps when I was a kid about the same age my grandson is now. I recently found my old album, so I gave it to him along this new album and an extra packet of stamps. He seemed excited to get the stuff, but then discovered collecting coins. It would be good if there were possibilities for foreign stamps and older ones pictured. The thrill of the hunt, you know.

The good news. The stamps are in great shape. Bad news only 38 stamps. Only about 75% have a date listed on the stamp. Most were 3 cent stamps. Most will date into the med to late 40's into the 50's. The oldest dated stamp was 1931. I doubt if any dated earlier. They had some nice stamps. the one I liked best was the flag raising on iwo jima, very nice! I almost gave them a 3 star but the stamps I got were very nice.

I am incredibly happy about how fast I got these (within 24hrs). However, the item is not as described on two accounts. First, I was supposed to get 40 and I only received 39 ( Yes, I counted 3 times). Second, there were only stamps from the 20’s, 30’s & 40’s. Not one came from the 1910’s. But other than that, I am a brand new collector and I am excited to put these in my book. If the seller sees this and wants to make things right they could send me one 1910’s stamp and I would update my review.
