I am confused by other reviews saying that the balls didn't dissolve, because these balls dissolve instantly, so I'm not sure what they are talking about! (Did they not remove them from the packaging?? lol)I initially got these because my tank water was looking a little "green" from all the plants I have and even though I was changing water often, it just wasn't looking crystal clear. I added one ball into my 7 gallon tank and the next day it looked so clean! I can't believe the difference this stuff makes! So happy!I also added one to my other 5 gallon betta tank and it looks amazingly clear now too. Great product.

I like what it is supposed to do. I have not lost a fish in months, so I am saying yes, it is helping.

Since these hit the market they're all I use. This bacteria works better than any liquid products I have used over the years. You can start a fresh tank with comfort that you're not going to have ammonia related deaths. Want to add a dozen fish to your tank without cycling it, these are perfect. I have had nothing but success using these bacteria balls.

I was under the impression these dissolved immediately when dropped in the water. They do disappear so I thought nothing of it. When draining to change water they’re still there, just sitting on bottom weeks later. Do they work? Maybe, I don’t know.
