Looks lovely
Just received this chess set, it’s a gift for husband for Christmas so I haven’t taken it all out of packaging. I did open it up though just to check all the pieces were there, no damage etc. Have to say it was packed brilliantly, very impressed. Everything looks intact, I will update my review after Christmas day. 10/10 for packing & delivery though, such a positive after some deliveries I’ve had lately! Thank you 🙏

A very impressive looking chess set !
Some pieces were missing the felt on their base but that didn't really matter, the pieces have a nice weight and detail.The board is quite deep and is of a nice quality. It looks really good.Depending on the light (playing in the evening with only lamps on ) and how good your eyesight is, it can occassionally be a little difficult to see if certain pieces are gold or silver. But not a big problem.Made a lovely gift for my husband.The packaging made it feel a bit cheap when it came but overall a really nice and impressive chess set.
