Painted green. I guess it is to supposedly enhance colors, but just rinses right off. I was hoping they might be able to be cut and polished up, but it also appears to have major fissures that would cause it to break apart if cut.

I soaked my stone 3 days because of enhancing but it is so stunning beautiful and so worth the$.Got a rope chain for mine no regrets at all lotsmod complements .

I bought this stone as a gift, mainly for it's color. The color is perfect and the stone is small, easy to hold in a hand and not heavy.

Although I received a comparable weighted item such as the one described, the shape of it isn't the same as shown; also the stone was color enhanced and much smaller than shown. A 50 - 50 substitution at best.I won't purchase from this vendor again,
