This Wheelchair ended up being a Travel Godsend
My wife broke her foot three weeks before we were to go on a vacation in Europe. We decided that we were going to go, and we knew we were going to need a travel wheelchair. We ended up buying this one, and we found it extremely affordable. We weren’t sure if it would hold up at this price point, but we got it anyway. It ultimately was a godsend for our trip and held up great. This wheelchair made it through two international flights (we gate-checked it both ways and it was never damaged). We used it in six European cities (with transport that included trains, taxis, and rental cars). It traversed old stone streets (although it was hard to push over cobblestones), as well as non-paved paths. The little peddle things on the back helped to lift the chair for curbs and bumps. It is indeed lightweight (19 lbs), and everything folds. This wheelchair really saw it all and we were thrilled it stayed intact. We have kept this wheelchair and will lend in to friends and relatives who might need it.We highly recommend this chair, but keep in mind these tips below if you travel with this chair (or to just consider if you get it):Remember the push handles fold down. That was very helpful for taxi trunks;Purchase at least two Velcro straps. You’ll need them to secure the wheelchair when it’s folded (especially if it’s going on a plane).Take a small bag with you to store the removable footpads (we detached them, put them in an adidas bag, and took them on the plane when the chair was gate-checked).You’ll need a cushion if someone sits in the chair for a long time. I-Drive sells a pad which is fine, but it’s too heavy and bulky for travel. We ended up buying a chair cushion from wal-mart and that was light and did the trick for travel. The hand-brakes are attached to the push handles. If you push the handles down, it locks the wheels (I did not see that info on any instructions/manuals, and only learned that the wheels locked when an airport staffer told us).We would definitely but this chair again. For the price, we found it to be a good value.

Impressive Maiden Outing
I ordered this chair for my father. We received it yesterday. It was very simple to get it out of the box and set it up. We used it around the house and found it easy to get through our normal sized doors and it is easy to turn in tight spaces. We used it today for transporting to and from doctor's appointments. It was easy to get it in and out of my SUV. It was a smooth ride over ramps, office door thresholds, and elevator opening. I asked dad if it was comfortable and he said it is tight on his thighs and the seat is hard. I said the seat is hard because you don’t have a butt with any padding😂 I think it's perfect for short distances and relatively short periods of time.

Perfect!
This is perfect for my 92 year old dad. Very lightweight and folds for easy storage. Dad is about 5'8" and weighs about 150 pounds. Not sure how well it would work for someone who is larger than that, but great for him. I sat in it an moved myself around with my feet (please note, the back wheels are not meant for the rider to propel themselves) and it was very easy to push/pull myself and turn in circles. Almost no resistance. The back wheels have locks so no concerns about a run away wheelchair. All in all, money well spent.

Good price, sturdy, and very handy for our use, but not for everyone. See below for details.
My 82 year wife has dementia and is unsteady on her feet. Although she can walk with a cane, I wanted to get something that was easy to pack in the car and suitable for getting to Drs. appointments, or for a short stroll around the neighborhood. This chair is good for those purposes.Pros:1. Relatively lightweight and easy to fold and stow in back of SUV.2. Easy to fold for storage. Doesn't take up much floor space when folded.3. Quite sturdy. That said, there are also some limitations.1. The 12", solid wheels are OK for short hauls. But for long hauls it can be a bit tiring. So for long hauls, get a chair with larger wheels (preferably with pneumatic tires).2. The hand grips that I use for pushing it are pretty hard. I ordered some softer grips. Hopefully that will help.OVERALL: GOOD FOR OUR USE.

Don’t Wait - Your Loved One Deserves It!
This transport chair is compact and light! It really has been a gamechanger in allowing my family to bring my grandma out. It’s lightweight, and easy to manuever. The handbrakes are helpful, and seatbelt adds a security measure. I enjoy the little foot lever to help lift up the wheelchair on bumps or curbs, making this transport chair better than Medline. It’s easy to push even on dirt and grass!

So easy.
My Dad is 90 years old, 5 foot 10 inches, weighs about 215 pounds and walks with a cane. We got this so he can shop Target and the grocery store with me, instead of having coffee while I do the shopping, because he gets very winded. This way, he’ll see something not on his list, and can just point. I was greatly relieved that there was no assembly required. Also, it folds up compactly and the weight is manageable. I purchased a cushion seat after reading some reviews, and he’s very comfortable.Hopefully, it will last good long time because I am so pleased.

Great quality and lightweight
I was looking for a lightweight wheelchair for my mom that would be easy for my Dad to load in the car. This is perfect! Lightweight and sturdy. Now my parents can go places again.
