These are good pocket hole screws and work perfectly with my Kreg 520 kit. Just what I needed and a good value compared to local box store….

I bought the Kreg tool so I wanted to be sure I bought the correct screws for it to use on my project. They aren't cheap but they worked well so no complaints.

Kreg tools abs screws are super. Always work as supposed to without issues. Trusted name and products.

These are very strong screws and the perfect compliment to any pocket hole system; however the Robertson drive is not immune to cam-out and carries it's own design flaws. If the driver is not perfectly square to the screws it will wiggle and chatter. I like that they hang off the bit without falling but a lot of the screws cammed-out after going into the pocket hole. I wish Kreg would make the same screw in a torx configuration.

The genuine Kreg version of this screw for pocket hole joinery is certainly a top quality fastener. Could you get by with lower quality versions? Probably. But for my money, I'll spend the extra dollar to not have to worry about a dull tip or a malformed drive head. Maybe it's less of an issue with square-drive screws, but many times when dealing with cheaper phillips head screws I have issues. Regardless, it's not something I want to be fussing with for screws, so I'll stick with these. I've got through probably 150 building various items for the house and workshop.

I really like these screws for several reasons other than pocket screws. They start easy, square drive works well for me using the Kreg driver, they aren't bad to split my material and they hold well. I have not had the problems others have had stripping out or breaking the head off maybe because I usually predrill and I don't typically use them in hardwoods either. The only con is that they are more costly yet I am willing to continue if/when something better comes along. I use these in 1 1/2" material. I have several projects planned not utilizing them as pocket screws just straight in countersinking with a paddle bit first. Photo's to follow if allowed.

Pocket holes are best for any novice woodworking. My first project was a tabletop for a desk. The best thing is that the screws do not strip away, easy to use with basic measurements. It helps to secure pieces in place. Excellent product! with the use of YouTube videos and the Kreg K4 system. I highly recommend this.
