We bought the ladder and stair combination because we do not have a deck that meets the pool.The overall quality of the product is fair. There were screws missing and parts that did not lineup. The manual received with the product indicated the legs are adjustable on the ladder portion that attaches to the stairs. That is not true. We found the manufacturers manual online that actually said those adjustable legs needed to be cut to fit. There were no instructions on how to do that and if you cut the “adjustable legs” you must then cut the poles too. This was not indicated in the manual we received with the product and was not indicated in the product manual we found online. We did eventually get the product put together because we desperately needed it for safety reasons. It took us four days and lots of maneuvering to get this to work for our pool. The bags that are provided for sand to weight the pool steps down are a joke. These bags are not even a Ziploc bag, but simply a pressed together bag that could come loose and empty sand in your pool. Not only that, the stairs are so heavy two bags of stand would not hold them down. We wrapped a 16 x 16 patio block with the bags they gave us and had to put that underneath the stairs on either side to hold it down. If we had not done that, there was no way we were going to stabilize it and be able to attach the ladder. Finally, there are a number of parts that are difficult to put together thankfully, we are good at building things and used baby powder so that the pieces would slide together better. The only reason I bought this product was for the stairs because I had a bad fall coming off an A frame ladder. I am happy that we have them. I just wish there had been a better product on the market for an above ground pool without a deck. Oh, and one more thing. They provide you with straps to hold down the platform on the ladder to the side of the pool and not to the stairs. This does not stabilize the ladder to the stairs very well at all. We wound up screwing the legs of the ladder to the top of the platform on the stairs.

The ladder is sturdy but it moves way too much. It floats up in the water. The ladder will rock back and forth as you climb on it. I thought for $400 it would be heavier and not float or move as much.

These were very difficult to assemble and the inactivations were not helpful at all.But they are sturdy and work perfectly for my pool. I would not buy them again for the assembly issues, but I would buy assembled.

This is a horrible ladder, unsturdy, no instructions, horrible design and cannot get in touch with anyone to return. Amazon says to contact supplier and when I try it circles back to Amazon. What a waste of $500 for something we can't even use!!!!!! It's like Theft!!!

Easy to install. HOWEVER, screws were missing. Thankfully, my husband is an amazing handyman and easily fixed it. Additional screws were needed to stabilize. It's not a horrible product, but for the price, should be much better.

I am astounded at how completely unstable this item is! I put it together following instructions carefully. I placed the ladder in the pool, stair steps in the water, ladder on the outside. The moment I stepped on the ladder to get in the pool, the entire apparatus started to split apart...it was scary. So, I checked every single bit of it to ensure I didn't make any mistakes. I didn't. I then went to the garage and secured the ladder and the steps with a cinder block each on the bottom. Made no difference at all and I nearly fell from the top platform as I was getting out and this thing decided to split apart while I was on top of it. It's a total hazard, complete unstable and I want my money back pronto! I have no idea how I'm going to return this thing now that it's put together but nonetheless, I want a refund for this dangerous piece of junk!
