LifeProof LIFEACTÍV Armband with QuickMount - Retail Packaging - Black

This is the best arm band I have tried in the 7 years of running. It takes a bit of time to get used to the clip, but after a few times you get used to the clip. You do have to pay attention every time you clip it in while you are running, which does cause some distracted running if you are running in the city or on a trail.The overall comfort is great, I do get some scratching without a tee shirt on, chaffing on my torso from the band. I can generally readjust it to minimize it from happening.The extra bands allow for any size person to get a great fit.The elastic has held up great, never feels like I can't get it to stay where I want it to be.I am a very heavy sweater and this thing has held no stench, or broken down at all.I have taken a couple tumbles over the past year and my screen did get scratched, but that was more my fault. I don't see how it could ever fall out of the clip, it stayed on no matter what.I have put this thing through the wringer and it has stood the harshest tests almost anyone could put it through.I run roughly 80-100 miles a months and this is my daily driver. I will be replacing it when I need a new one, but feel like I should get at least another 6 months out of it without an issue. Really would only need to get another band not the clip.

So far so great! Purchased in early July 2023 to use with iPhone 14 pro in a Lifeproof Fre case. Although the mounting template can’t lay flush due to the 14 pro camera lens, I was able to stick on the attachment in the center with no problem. Followed the instructions and it works SO great. It came with 3 options for arm band straps. The Velcro is very strong. I’ve used it to run several times. Highly recommend. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to order this! Also, the Amazon price was unbelievable compared to the price on the product website.

I have no choice but to give a one-star review after this product failed twice within three months. Avoid making the same mistake as me; do not give this company your money.The first time I bought the Lifeproof Lifeactiv armband was back in April (I'm writing this in July). I followed the instructions to let the adhesive stick to the phone case for 24+ hours before use. Apparently that didn't matter at all, because my phone flew right off my arm during a jog last month (June), with the adhesive having completely failed. There was absolutely no stickiness left on it.I gave Lifeproof the benefit of the doubt and assumed I'd simply purchased a dud, so I bought a new one. The new one lasted less than a month before the adhesive failed. Once again, the phone flew off my arm while jogging, and it felt like there was zero stickiness left on the adhesive backside. I had even purchased a different phone case with a smooth plastic back JUST for this quickmount adapter.I don't know about you, but an average of six weeks' worth of use (jogging roughly every other day) comes nowhere close to justifying the price for this armband, especially when the replacement adapters are $20 each.I live in coastal SoCal, so extreme weather/temperatures were not a factor. Other than sweat, I can't think of a reason why this would have failed twice in such a short period, other than the adhesive quality just being very poor. If the quickmount adhesive can't stand up to sweat, then what's the point of even purchasing the workout armband?I wrote customer support via their website's live chat feature (as their phone support is canceled indefinitely), and was told I'd have to take the issue up with Amazon. Of course, Amazon doesn't accept returns unless the product is in "unused condition," which mine certainly are not. So here I am, with two useless Lifeproof armbands, writing a negative review on Amazon before I start shopping for a replacement.

I had an Iphone 5 with the old style case that you clipped the entire Lifeproof case into, and I liked it. It felt very secure. When Lifeproof switched over to this QuickMount system, I was very unhappy, but I upgraded to an Iphone 6 and had no choice but to accept it. I needed an armband for running, so I finally ordered this. Turns out it's pretty great. I actually find it much easier to use than the old style of armband. The mount clips in super easily and the lock switch is easy to access and toggle. Do I like having the QuickMount permanently on the back of my phone case? Absolutely not. I hate it. My phone doesn't lie flat anymore, but that's beside the point. This armband is great and much lighter than the old model. Another plus is that the velcro on this model feels much stronger than the old one, and you get more than one strap for different arm sizes.That's much better than the old method of cutting the band down to size. Plus, if the velcro wears out, you can just replace the strap without buying an entirely new armband. Nice job Lifeproof!
