Samsung Tab A8 Wi-Fi 8 Inch - Silver

This is not an iPad. If you want an iPad, buy an iPad. This is a really good tablet. It does what a tablet should. I cannot fault it and even my teenage offspring is more than impressed, so much so she borrows it. I haven't had a problem with it and I have used Google docs etc without any problems. Nice size screen, lightweight and attractive. Worth every penny.

For what I want (e-books & magazines) this does the job well. I've had it 2 days and already got near enough everything I want on it (including the local paper!) Ok it's a bit slow and am aware I can't put apps on the memory card but what do you expect for £100? I think so far it's better than some of the cheaper tablets and what you pay for this Samsung is the cheapest I want to pay for one. Everything has been easy to set up having an android phone too.

I’m an Apple person and this is my first non Apple device in probably 15-20 years. The reason for purchase was that I wanted a cheap, dedicated device for our Tapo security cameras. The image is lovely and sharp and it works well for the purpose it was purchased for. My main gripe is the set up process. I’m use to Apple, which is very quick and easy and respects your privacy choices. It took 3-4 times longer to set this up. Mainly due to screen after screen having to give permission to share information. This would have been acceptable, if I could have opted out of the “optional” consent. But until you agreed, the next button wouldn’t appear. So not optional if you want to be able to use the device!

I have been using this for a long time it has good battery life and never failed me once it charges up nicely give me a large display of the charge time overall this is excellent I would recommend this product

Bought these two tablets for the kids (8&9) homeschooling activities, easy to set up and supports google classroom, took a couple of days for the kids to get used to them, great for all their games and apps & the memory can be expanded with an SD card if like our two. Your kids take endless photos and videos, arrived on time, well packaged as described, good quality materials, easy to use and feels robust and built to last. We bought a black and a white one, personally l prefer the white/silver which looks fab.

One of the best buys I have ever bought through Amazon, this is amazing honestly far far better than what I was expecting as it was a Christmas present for my wife. She absolutely loves it! Everything runs so smoothly from app to app, the internal storage is fantastic and the battery life is unbelievable, she hasn’t set it down yet! Would highly recommend this tablet as we have had iPads and other Samsung tablets before but this is the best we have had yet. That good I am gunna order another one for myself.

Fantastic budget tablet. In my opinion your better off spending 140 on a samsung than going cheaper for similar specs. Why? Because I have been down that road and it brought me back yo the samsung. You cant put a price tag on quality andbthis tablet is smooth, no noticeable lag and you can run apps no problem. Im not a gamer so cannot comment on that part but if you are like me got the tablet for bit of web browsing, you tube, netflix, prime video etc then this tablet beats all the other cheaper tablets with similar specs. Ive had 2gb ram on cheaper tablets and the 2gb ram on this samsung is noticeably quicker and smoother with no lag . Buy it.

Good size tablet for day-to-day, used mainly for my music as have extended memory. Bought during prime day but watch prices as not a big bargain as youthink but still worth the money. No negatives battery life excellent and very easy to use.
