I have owned plenty of xlr cables and snakes. This particular one has some nice features. The connectors are solid metal. The color reference was different than my last few, so things were confusing for me at first. I had to relearn which color referred to which mic again. No big deal.My two issues that lead to 4 stars are:One spring clip on a connector is finicky. It doesn't want to engage when I initially install that cable. Sometimes it doesn't cause an issue, other times I have no signal on that mic and that clip is to blame.The material the majority of the snake is covered with isn't very flexible. I am sure this could be helpful in most instances, but it feels like I can putting unnecessary strain on the connectors because of that.
