I love the adjustability of the ALL metal holder. I run these holders in my FedEx trucks and it endures the shaking and rattling like a champ! I only wish I could get more of these.

Let me start giving this item 5 stars for description, shipping and delivery time.The holder is indeed metal and it has a very secure hold on my iPad, which I use in a food truck and is passed out for the customer to sign. That makes me happy. Five stars.Installation: the holder has three bolts/nuts that allow the size of the holder to be adjusted for height and two small arms with small bolts that allow for adjustment for width. HOWEVER, all three bolts are in the inside of the holder making it out impossible to secure the height of the center slide. That was easily fixed by TAKING THE CENTER BOLT OUT AND FLIPPING IT SO THE NUT IS ON THE OUTSIDE. The two other nuts are too close to the sides to use a socket, you need to get a wrench. Half a demerit for idiotic planning. Also. While tightening the bolts, if you put too much pressure you WILL strip the square hole in the part that keeps the nut from spinning. Fortunately they're a key and lock extra security for thatLast is a major issue: it has parts you don't need(an extra butterfly handle) and YOU NEED PARTS IT DOESN'T HAVE. The set is missing 4 bolts needed to attach the base to the mounting surface. You need 8. Four for the arm to holder and four for the arm to surface. In my case, this was a replacement for a broken install(same company that lasted 2 years so it's ok) and I was able to use the four existing bolts to the old base. If this is a new install for you, unless you have those bolts, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FINISH THE INSTALL. I should take a full star off but I am satisfied with MY end product. You might be a bit more difficult to satisfy.

Used to mount iPad. Strong enough to use with employee drivers. Lol. Came with some bolts/nuts missing.

Solid and secure. Drawbacks, it doesn't work with my tablet case and the center bolt needs to be flipped and the adjustable nut needs to be put on the outside of the mount.
