Great Dry-Time
Product was just what was needed to bring back some life to my inner fabric of my leather shoes. This product went on great without streaking so long as you put decent coverage and passed each area of interest. Right out of the box a quick shake and you’re off to paint town!

Left the garment stiff and damaged!
This product doesn't spray evenly and leaves a very clumpy stiff/scratchy layer on top of the fabric. Almost like a popcorn ceiling texture. I own a fabric care business and I would never use this again, complete TRASH. The only thing you could use this on is items/garments that won't come in contact with skin. Maybe the back of furniture, but I'd skip this one completely.

Hairy paint
I could not believe the small size of this can. Following the directions I sprayed a fabric lamp shade with this and it made the lampshade look like it had fur. Obviously there are some kind of fibers infused in the paint. I would not buy it again

Not good for altering fabric color but great refresher
I love ColorShot for refreshing fabric colors that have become faded or discolored, especially if the material is synthetic and can't undergo normal dye soaks. However, I've actually seen it advertised as a way of altering fabric colors. I tried to turn a pair of old black gloves white for a costume and... eh. They looked okay until you actually tried to wear them. (Photo attached)Usually I refresh things like faded hats and coats, or items that have become stained. This stuff is kind of like a spray paint. The clothing tends to become a little stiff, but I always do the 72 hour dry-time before washing and I've never had the color wash off. It does sometimes need to be refreshed again after a couple years. It's extended the life of many favorite sun hats.

Good stuff
Works great! Very easy to use and doesn't need a lot of layers for the color to be nice and bright. Does change the texture of the fabric a little but not bad and it's still pretty soft once it dries.

Not a great experience.
I did not have a great experience with this item. I read the poor reviews but thought I might be able to be safe, considering I just wanted to lightly spray a "misty" sort of effect for some small star stencils over two sides of an 18" x 18" pillow cover. I figured one can would be plenty, and maybe I could do other projects. Nope. The first spray started out OK and looked great but after a few squeezes the can started sputtering and spattering paint out. The can was at room temp and I did this project on my kitchen floor lined with newspaper, to improve chances of success, as well as holding it upside down but it kept getting worse. I did manage to get one pillow side done. It wasn't a light dusting, more like a spattering effect, which I would have to just deal with but on the second pillow cover the paint suddenly just completely ran out rendering me with half a spattered stencil. I guess that will be the back side. Oh well. I guess when they say "good for a small project" they mean REALLY SMALL. I feel that for the price, it was not enough product at all, and the sputtering, uneven release of the paint was very disappointing.
