Great sturdy product
Easy to install. The red and blue indicators are clear and have saved me some embarrassing moments when I have guests over (also provides security for said guests) there is a screw switch on the outside Incase it gets locked closed accidentally

Fit Perfectly and Does Exactly what was Needed (lock and indicate in-use/free)
Both fit the existing installations with no modifications needed. They fulfill exactly what was needed; lock and indicate in-use or free. I think a nice added benefit is, they can be unlocked with a large blade screwdriver, so there is no key needed.

Sturdy knob
I do not like that the “locked” position of the knob is what, would typically be, the unlocked position. But, that’s totally survivable.I had to chisel on the door frame for quite some time to get the door to shut and latch. But, the knob seems sturdy and turns free and smoothly.

HORRIBLE!! Do NOT buy!
The media could not be loaded. Kid got stuck in our bathroom bc some interior mechanism broke. The father had to kick the door in. Only had it for 8 months. It’s cheap and UNSAFE!!

Easy to install, I install it in 10 minutes ( I had never installed a lock before this) looks great, blue and red indicators are perfect for the bathroom. highly recommned

Wrong orientation
Every door lock that I've ever encountered works the same way. On the inside of the door, if its unlocked, the locking mechanism is horizontal, if its locked, its vertical. Seems simple and straight forward. For some dumb reason, these locks are off 90 degrees, and there doesn't seem to be any way to correct that.It might not seem like a big deal, but if literally everybody BUT this manufacturer is used to horizontal = unlocked, vertical = locked, then they will always be confused by if they've successfully locked the bathroom door. Who cares if people outside can see the status, when the inside status is completely backwards? Basically this design makes these useless for quick glances. It does look nice though, and the construction of the knob appears to be sturdy. I'd buy it again if they fixed this stupid design decision. Until then though...

Exactly what I wanted
Got this product to serve a specific purpose and it does it perfectly.This allows privacy, indicates that the door is locked so there’s no moment of surprise/embarrassment when you try to open a door and discover it is locked, and can be easily unlocked from the outside with just a coin so there’s no real risk of a child getting locked in or someone being hurt and unable to unlock it.Plus it’s super affordable, and sturdier than I would have expected given the price.
