I've probably tried every type of preserved garlic - different forms seem to work better for different purposes. For fresh garlic flavor, I would rate these dehydrated slices above the minced-in-oil type, but below the rather expensive freeze-dried form. Using my little 1-cup Toastmaster coffee grinder, these pieces were easily and quickly turned into a fine powder. For soups and any recipe with enough moisture, I just put them in a tough plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin. The photo shows the extraneous matter that does need to be picked out, but it's really not a bad percentage of the whole.

I love this spice so much and this one packs a punch of flavor! I tried one of the chips just to test and it was so darn strong! I use this fry spice in my grinder for seasoning everything and it works perfectly for me!Only improvement I would say is the top of this package would be a better seal but it’s no worries as I transfer to air tight glass gard for long storage containers because it a big amount!

I am amazed at the flavor and aroma in this product! I have found SO many uses for this! They plump up SO much when added to food and add so much flavor. When you open the container you know this is garlic!!

The container I got of these were not as flavorful as the slices I have purchased from the store or the dried minced garlic I have. I will see if the next one is better and update if necessary or cancel my subscription.

Great flavor + so easy to use , very closed to fresh garlic. Especially for black garlic sauce.

Ordered two of them and had no safety seal. One was half full and the other was 2/3 full. One had an awful smell and the other smelt right.
