well pleased
go slow with this, and if you have hard red clay dirt like I do, it is so much easier to wet your dirt down for 3-5 min before you use this tool. I bought it to dig four holes to put down a small fence with and it will help a whole lot with that. I used a Hypertough 8 volt drill with it and it worked, but a more powerful one would make the job a lot faster. With the auger, DO NOT start out with it at FULL speed, I started out with my finger pressed down about halfway and it on the "drill" setting as well. I do not recommend using the numbered chuck settings, as it can cause the bit to vibrate out of the drill. I measured out the depth that I needed my auger to go down to and put a piece of duct tape on the stopping point as well. so far, for a reasonably priced tool, I am pleased. To get it out of a jam, just simply reverse your eletric drill/ screwdriver and slowly bring the auger back up.

Put em to work!!
Ok! So I live in Arizona where the ground is hard as a rock! I have a bunch of things I wanted put in the ground (stick lights or decorative things). I asked my husband to dig a little hole so I can get them put in. After the first one, he was over it and didn’t want to do anymore. (I still had like 20 more things I needed other holes dug for). He actually thought he was off the hook! But yay me for finding this gadget and it just arriving in the mail! Surprise! Now I got him back out in the yard getting my holes dug! No excuses in this house! :) 10/10 excellent product!

Works great for my gardening needs!
I love this auger drill bit for my gardening. It loosens up the hard soil and creates great holes for my flower bulbs/tubers. The only complaint is that the hex head seems to wear out over time to where it starts to spin out of my drill. Perhaps I'm using it in too hard if soil?

Nice versatile set
Nice assortment of sizes. I bought them for an off-label use - drilling "pilot holes" before using a larger gas-powered earth auger, and also to mix small batches of concrete (either in a hole or bucket). The long 2 inch auger worked great for this, but I did have two minor problems. The long 2 inch auger is in two parts that screw together. When I was drilling a deep hole in dense clay, I needed to reverse the drill to get it out, and that caused the threads that hold the two parts together to come undone. I fixed that by chasing the threads with a tap and die, and using threadlocker to keep them from coming apart. The other minor issue was that the long auger was not quite straight, causing a little wobble. I think I would knock off a 1/2 star for that if I could, but otherwise seems like a reasonable quality for the price. I didn't try the other sizes in the set, but they look fine and useful for planting.

planting never easier
bought these to go on my dewalt 20v drill and they are amazing. I have used them all over for bulbs and small plants. Makes planting and easy don't need to worry about tough soil ad the drill does all the work. only point of concern comes with how you set up. Soft soil will tend to collapse the hole fairly quickly so know what you are digging in. Also watch the torque and speed of your drill because if you hit a tree root your wrist will go flying.

hose holder was able to be pushed into the ground
this thing was awesome. Did exactly what I needed it to do. The ground in front of my house was so hard I couldn’t get through it. This thing did its job. I was able to get through it soft in the dirt amazing. I recommend this to anyone who has hard dirt.

Only good for soft soil types
Good until it hits hard soil. We have clay, so when it gets through the top soil and hits clay, it will stick and twist your wrist. Check your soil before you buy.

Works as intended.
Works as intended. My cordless drill would only work in relatively soft dirt. If any hardness, get a powered drill. It will not cut through rocks. Be prepared for kick backs when it hits something hard.
