Works perfectly
Was very easy to set up on my SG1000 and works as expected. Very happy.

Awesome Extension
Yes, I’m pleased with my Sawgrass extension. I can print larger sizes, the colors are just as vibrant, performance and quality are great, the set up was so easy (less than 10 minutes), and the value for money was minimal because I can now printer larger forms. It actually pays for itself.

A need that I wish worked better
The bypass tray is a must for printing large sub prints on my sawgrass. It’s easy to install and set up. The problem is the paper feeder. I tried using sheets off a roll and it would not catch on the feeder. I then went to pre cut sheets but you have to have a certain grain paper for the feeder to recognize it and catch. It’s fine and I work with it but it’s just a pain to get the dang thing to feed paper through.

Be prepared- Tech support is non-existent
I bought directly from HeatPress Nation, not Amazon. I tried installing the printer on a Mac, but it is an unauthorized printer for Mac and there are several steps to take to force the install. It still didn't work. Then I tried a PC. No luck. Played the videos, read the troubleshooting steps. Part of the problem is that one video says to plug in the printer and insert the USB, but when you go to manage the print (finish the install) it becomes apparent that you were supposed to WAIT to insert the USB. Then you are supposed to follow the troubleshooting steps. I called tech support and asked for a walk thru as it was apparent that the instructions online are lacking. The person who answered the phone had no idea how to install the printer and all the tech support people were already helping other customers. No surprise there, right? Then, after on hold for 17 minutes, the call dropped.Update: Sawgrass got back to me via online ticket and set up an appointment for three days in the future. It is worth noting here, that while waiting for a response on the ticket, I either had to watch my email, or keep refreshing the page. That part of the process would have moved along a bit faster if the page automatically refreshed. But, I am thinking that faster is not the name of Sawgrass' game. I called Heat Press Nation, and I got a response via phone in under 15 minutes, then, it took their tech another 15 to install the printer, which included time to fix the mistakes I made in the install because I followed Sawgrasses online instructions. So, it now works! I am sure the printer is fine, and for 1700 freaking bucks, it had better be, right?
